18/10/2024 14:11 | No reason to go to £6, last trading statement fine, CEO clearly seeing a return to the US a better proposition. This company needs to break itself up! | bookbroker
18/10/2024 14:06 | Don't think 8 is going to hold...6 quid would make it intersting I guess... | takeiteasy
18/10/2024 13:58 | Let it drop to 600p and then have a ponder . | john09
18/10/2024 12:14 | Outgoing boss Jon Steinberg said: “Future is a wonderful business driven forward by incredibly talented people who I love working with and it was a tough personal decision to step down from theboard next year. “It is a great privilege to lead the group and until I hand over to my successor, I remain focused on the delivery of our strategy which leverages Future’s inherent strengths, strong financial characteristics and unique proposition.” cityam interview :) The way this continues to fall beyond what anyone would see as a sensible pull back makes me wonder that the market is near devastated that he is leaving - perhaps he is a much needed genius ....nai etc | takeiteasy
18/10/2024 11:50 | The priority for share price growth was the USA sales recovery and that is supposedly the CEO's specialism. Will he keep his motivation high for 12 months if he is looking to a new life back in USA - this particularly makes his role a higher risk issue for the firm I assume. Will be very interesting to read the wording in the reports in December :) | takeiteasy
18/10/2024 11:27 | It’s a good thing yes except he’s clearly decided it’s not worth staying and yet he will haunt the place for 12 months while they find another | john09
18/10/2024 10:56 | Exactly . They share price has done nothing in the time he has been there. Surely him leaving is a good thing?! | iandippie
18/10/2024 10:21 | Clearly he was a failure and didn't fit in well following Zillah's departure. Didn't even make two years. Good riddance, onwards and upwards. | indiestu
18/10/2024 10:14 | Question: If CEO was mainly USA based to drive the sales model there with some trips to UK, why could he not make this work out OK. | takeiteasy
18/10/2024 09:41 | Topped up a hefty amount this morning to get average down low. Don’t think the outlook has changed, most CEOs aren’t worth the money they are paid | darrenp746
18/10/2024 09:38 | If we go below 800 I'll buy again, not that unlikely at the moment. Although I'll need to make up my mind on what to sell as I'm cash strapped. | alotto
18/10/2024 09:04 | Fall feels overdone | northwards
18/10/2024 09:02 | I'm buying if the price holds above the fib 62 retracement at 820 which was the 2nd breakout of last years rally. | indiestu
18/10/2024 08:48 | It's worth remembering that there will have been a huge amount of leveraged long positions stopped out this morning. If the price settles on the 200 day MA around 880 by the end of the day this could be a very profitable long term trade, following this wash out the next rally could have legs. | indiestu
18/10/2024 08:48 | Looking back at Feb 2023, the announcement of Jon Steinberg as CEO didn't exactly do wonders for the share price back then. | smokeyjohnson
18/10/2024 08:21 | Headline: Future Plc drops as Future CEO sees no bright Future in UK (I myself have 12 return flights booked over the next 12 months to try to escape the miserable atmosphere in the UK) | simmsc
18/10/2024 08:03 | Lets give the ceo the benefit of the doubt, he could have family sickness etc i don't think the timing could ever be strategically timed well lets be honest. Anyway selfishly it has enabled me to buy back in, one of the few shares that i managed to sell at the top so i am pleased. Looking forward to upbeat results and outlook in Dec. Go Compare! | rimau1
18/10/2024 07:58 | It makes the buyback look a little silly. Announce potentially negative news just as the buyback is coming to an end. Point gun at foot and pull trigger. | smokeyjohnson
18/10/2024 07:55 | where is the next chart support though....does not look too good... | takeiteasy
18/10/2024 07:28 | Plus the chart looked like the edge of a ski sloe waiting for such news | john09
18/10/2024 07:27 | Yeah think I agree with Sundance. It doesn’t change the fundamentals of the business and all other updates suggest business as usual. If it dips real low might even add more! | furiousrabbit
18/10/2024 07:27 | 12 month notice has something. To do with it | john09
18/10/2024 07:22 | Not sure this news is worthy of a 9% decline, 12 months notice so plenty of time to recruit a new CEO or better still promote internally. Disruptive for sure but new CEO, new ideas etc. Funny old market this. | sundance13 |
