My questions:

Can you hit me hard in the face with a very heavy object, a coal shovel, laptop, even a high heel shoe, anything will do as long as you direct the force appropriately.

I obviously won't insist on a coal shovel but it seems the best way to go.

If I awake can you ask me why do I still own FBT shares.?

Hopefully the AGM will help.

My questions:1) is any effort being made to talk to potential buyers of blackbird (obviously they can't answer this) 2) what's the latest on the north American broadcaster deal3) following on from successful renewals of MSG how many other arenas or stadiums have we signed and if none why not?

IM calls them an OEM in the statement.

'Given the information the public have been given, with regards the capabilities and enormous possibilities and potential of the FBT technology'.

1) What are the BOD's thoughts on the reasons for the huge disconnect between the potential of the technology and the actual use/sales of the technology.

2) Are the BOD's directly responsible for the disconnect?

3) After 20 years and a recent £2.25m (FY 2018) loss, what plans have the BOD's have to return 'value to long term shareholders'

IMHO

I would like to know if the small size of the company is preventing large companies from adopting the Blackbird technology?

OK, however I think we know the reasons for failure.

Fbt are now selling a b2b product.

They are advertising their product by talking about a codec.

If their codec is useful amazon or a big company will buy fbt and the other clients will be abandoned as the blackbird codec becomes part of the big companies offering.

Fbt cannot sell their product with conviction as a consequence and unfortunately nobody wants to buy their codec.

In essence fbt are riding two horses.

To compound matters, IM believes in SS but does not know what to do in the sector, he is not a techie.

My questions :

Have you pitched your codec to amazon and what was their feedback? Repeat for netflix, Google, IBM, Microsoft, etc.

Have you tried selling the company to amazon and what was their feedback? Repeat for netflix, Google, IBM, Microsoft, etc.

Why do customers typically reject blackbird and who on your team does follow up calls?

Will you please offer chriscalllen a job?

SS still confident.

Comment on Twitter regards Deltatre extended deal.

Tech ten years ahead - a world away from all the newcomers.

So I think we on this thread should collectively put together a couple of questions for the AGM

All good points

Perhaps we need to craft an AGM question that they can answer as to why sales are so difficult to achieve now.

What do you guys think how should we try to ask the question in a general non breaking of stock market rules way to understand this serious problem?

Agree, you can find yourself in a 'mustn't lose this contract' mind set!

Simple fact is (for whatever reason) FBT have very few (albeit impressive) clients, which limits your bargaining power and desperately need the CEO and his team to land some eye watering(financial or with marquee companies) so the industry and the financial markets 'are forced to sit up and take notice'

GL and IMHO

With not one medium or large contract landed over 4 months on from mention by IM it strongly suggests that something is wrong with their current sales model (assuming it is different from the pre IM abysmal past) given the very good things users say publicly about Blackbird. OEMs are clearly on a much longer time scale but surely other users can see the potential immediate cost, security and quality benefits but for some reason don't or cannot commit to using Blackbird. It's early days with the MS Partnership but no positive results suggests that nothing else was in the pipeline despite the switch to a beefed up sales team. If I were in IMs shoes I would not be panicking (yet)but a detailed review of each bid not won to see if there is a common pattern to rejection would be sensible. More often than not potential customers will tell you why they decided against using your offering if you ask them and I made it a rule to do so (but the person asking was always not part of the sales team on the particular pitch). It's very perplexing.

I don’t think you can classify Deltatre as OEM they are using us as a Client I would have thought.

Q for the AGM perhaps.

They may well have been giving it away to get a foothold and destroyed their pricing power.

I do have some sympathy for FBT, whether its contract negotiations or forging partnerships 'the balance of power' seems to be against them (at this moment in time)

A situation that they may have created or facilitated, however.

Well, I was nearly right. No mention of enhanced revenues. All a bit embarrassing now.

I'd have thought that being an OEM would mean much much longer contract terms. A minimum of 3 years I'd have thought. As Deltatre Why would you do a 1 year extension? Surely you'd get better terms doing a 3 or 5 year deal?

Good summary of the Deltatre renewal, agree.

There would be alarm bells (for me) if FBT failed to extend existing contracts.

Positive news but not exciting or game-changing!!

On reflection I suppose I would have been upset if they had announced that they had lost the business. But if their business model is to use annual contracts anything worth over £40K is likely to require an RNS. It just points out to investors again and again how consistently poor the BoD is in winning new medium and large customers (IMs Nov 2018 definitions apply).

As forecast yesterday:
Deltatre extends Blackbird for sports

Forbidden Technologies plc (AIM: FBT), the developer and seller of the market-leading cloud video platform, Blackbird, is pleased to announce that Deltatre has signed an agreement to extend its use of Blackbird for a further 12 months.

Deltatre is a leading global provider of digital and broadcast services within the sports sector. The company works with rights owners and rights holders to grow the popularity of sports by giving fans even more exciting and immersive experiences. Achieving this enhances the brands of sports leagues, federations, franchises, TV networks and other content providers.

Deltatre uses Blackbird for the fast turn-around of long and short-form game highlights and clips for a wide range of sports including rugby, cycling and athletics. Once clipped, edited and enriched, game highlights can be distributed to social, mobile, web, over-the-top ("OTT") and on-demand platforms simply and quickly. Deltatre runs Blackbird on the Microsoft Azure cloud platform with users able to rapidly edit, manage and distribute content collaboratively from North America and Europe, all through a browser using limited bandwidth.

Deltatre CTO, Jon Hanford, said: "We're excited to commit to another year leveraging Blackbird's technology to help enhance the content our customers provide to their audiences. Their flexible platform is best-of-breed in the space and a natural partner for a company like Deltatre that is obsessed with maximizing fan engagement."
