08/5/2019 21:17 | The question for me is, What is the size of the market? Of course, that begs the question...Which market? Had I been at the agm, I would like to have asked the following questions (with no expectation of actually receiving a sensible answer)... Precisely what market is the company targeting? How big is that market? What percentage of that market does the company think it could get? Up until now, the answer to the third question has effectively been zero, with the first two questions being unanswered. I get the feeling that, up until now, the company has basically been a vanity project. However, perhaps things are changing and the first two questions are being considered. I would love to know the answers though. | horneblower

08/5/2019 20:57 | IM certainly enthusiastic / ambitious about prospects and is a man with a plan, guess he wouldn't be doing his job if he wasn't. Wondering if he dropped his guard when responding to expectations set during the sharesoc presentation. | _m_k

08/5/2019 17:49 | I found it took a long time (about 30 seconds) to downloading before it showed the video smoothly. Ookla internet test says I'm running at 2.2 mbps. | horneblower
08/5/2019 17:44 | DM delivered the AGM I(assume last) Bentley was there we had a quick chat seems very positive. Vic was there, had a catch up he is doing well. New Marketing manager, new sales manager (basically all new). None of the old bunch left. Met the new chap Stephen and we had a good chat. Ian is still very positive. I left feeling pretty confident. MK and others will do a summary for all. I will try add if I see anything else. BWTFDIK | sideshowbull
08/5/2019 16:33 | Bonio SSB sounds the sort of gentlemen who would have taken his Bentley out for a run to our Wimbledon AGM | nickb
08/5/2019 16:29 | SSB Glad you enjoyed your day New player looks good it now works great on my iPhone but my tests indicate that playback performance can suffer on new lower specd tablets eg Samsung galaxy TabA playback is not perfect smooth. Must use a lot of graphics decoding power. Anyone else experience performance issues? It might limit take up if it needs expensive mobile devices. | nickb
08/5/2019 16:10 | Was a decent AGM. Like the new player a lot. Still tweaking it but could be our holy grail.Mk hit me with a shovel but I still decided I am holding.BWTFDIK | sideshowbull

08/5/2019 15:05 | Deltatre pays next to nothing. If we had 20 similar companies signed up, we would still lose c. £1m a year. | bonio10000
08/5/2019 14:38 | 2 - 3 year hold, name change will help brand recognition and any major that starts using Blackbird will feed to the bottom line pretty quickly. A smal company like Blackbird could have you singing all the way to the bank - or they could go txxs up - it’s a gamble on their tech Deltatre uses Blackbird for the fast turn-around of long and short-form game highlights and clips for a wide range of sports including rugby, cycling and athletics. Once clipped, edited and enriched, game highlights can be distributed to social, mobile, web, over-the-top ("OTT") and on-demand platforms simply and quickly. Deltatre runs Blackbird on the Microsoft Azure cloud platform with users able to rapidly edit, manage and distribute content collaboratively from North America and Europe, all through a browser using limited bandwidth. Deltatre CTO, Jon Hanford, said: "We're excited to commit to another year leveraging Blackbird's technology to help enhance the content our customers provide to their audiences. Their flexible platform is best-of-breed in the space and a natural partner for a company like Deltatre that is obsessed with maximizing fan engagement." Forbidden CEO, Ian McDonough said: "Deltatre is one of our key OEM customers and we are delighted that they have extended their partnership with us. It demonstrates the power and agility of Blackbird when rapidly delivering high quality content to fans across multiple online channels. | goggin
