05/7/2019 08:26 | If this offer is withdrawn I would expect the price to crater again and next time no white knight to help retrieve some value. It's a dog's breakfast. | p1nkfish
05/7/2019 08:24 | John09, if the BoD get their way the 35p will be off the table, no price floor, and the "propsed" JV might not happen. No guarantee of magic beans, no guarantee magic beans will have value anyway. It also allows the credible industry player to play hardball and the asset they want is s/w, not semiconductors. You will be left holding the bag. It reads as another bad idea by this BoD. I could imagine them offering Sci Group BoD seats to stroke some egos. Hopefully Sci Group take-over completely. | p1nkfish
05/7/2019 08:21 | £14m market cap is woeful . I’m still expecting someone to come out of the woodwork although the scale of the SAG holding clearly prohibits somewhat | john09
05/7/2019 08:20 | The point in selling is you get the money now ... hanging on means you believe there will be either an increased bid or competition. Having your shares compulsory-purchased will have an opportunity cost, clearly. | the drewster
05/7/2019 08:19 | Other stakeholders = BoD. I doubt skilled workers need worry as there is demand. Oh, I forgot, the BoD laid off some a while back. "........in the opinion of the Frontier Board, if negotiations were to be successfully concluded, presents the prospect of material incremental potential value for Frontier, its Shareholders (including Science Group) and other stakeholders." | p1nkfish
05/7/2019 08:17 | Either way there’s no point in selling because there’s a guaranteed 35p floor. Best to sit and see what happens | john09
05/7/2019 08:16 | I’d call it last ditch negotiation . It’s normal. Might take another 5p or so for the board to accept and support publicly | john09
05/7/2019 08:14 | John09, sorry chap but I think you are thinking wishfully. The RNS is a begging letter. Desperate. Good luck to Sci Group. Turn this round and add value to UK PLC. Chase out the bad, ring in the new. | p1nkfish
05/7/2019 08:10 | Lastly, they confirm there is only one bidder. NO AUCTION. The credible industry player DOESN'T WANT FST. I wonder why /sarc. "Accordingly, the Board of Frontier now considers it unlikely that the discussions will result in an offer for the Company." Sci Group can play hardball with this bunch & there is little the BoD can do as outside begging shareholders not to accept any offer, the BoD are naked. Perhaps next they might resort to destroying value on purpose instead of just through incompetence to spike Sci Group and dissuade a take-over. | p1nkfish
05/7/2019 08:03 | Actually I think this is interesting. It basically says let’s talk, let’s do it quickly, up your offer and btw we are gonna update the market soon on trading so don’t wait for that mr bidder | john09
05/7/2019 07:40 | BoD desperate to keep the gravy train going. Under their stewardship the shares dropped to sub-10p Why would this new joint venture be any better than anything else they've managed during their time at the helm? Everything they have done to date has eroded shareholder value despite the opportunities and market dominant position. R&D spend of multiple times the current market cap during their reign also highlights just how far out of their depth they are. Hope the takeover goes ahead and they are immediately sacked. | the drewster
05/7/2019 07:21 | Let's see SAG reaction to that | mammyoko
04/7/2019 17:22 | BOD keep their Jobs you must be joking they have destroyed the company bunch of Clowns thanks Sethill you are Clueless | langham77
01/7/2019 15:39 | It’s a game of cat and mouse or smoke and mirrors | john09
01/7/2019 15:29 | won't be selling mine below 45p unless I have to. WAY undervalued but if no one else interested then that's the price. | blueteam
01/7/2019 13:24 | Ok this 35p Bid has failed. No one is selling and the price of over the offer price Try again SAG 👍 45p please them let’s see what happens | john09
01/7/2019 13:13 | I find it impressive that they are trying to buy 10m shares in the market and they’ve only managed to attract 50.000 shares loooooool 45p please . Get the offer out there | john09
01/7/2019 13:12 | This 2nd bidder needs to out (if there’s any truth in it whatsoever - I wouldn’t be surprised if it’s an outright lie. Otherwise we go for 35p simple as that. Science group should have said 45p and frankly that would be that | john09
01/7/2019 09:56 | It reads as though the FST Board prefer the 2nd option and hint that the proposed structure is important to the Board, possibly meaning they get to keep their jobs. "with a view to executing a corporate transaction which may or may not involve an offer for the Company. Discussions continue with this second party with a view to clarifying the proposed structure and pricing, " | nod
01/7/2019 09:54 | Holders unimpressed. Let's see if M&G or Axa take the bait but can't see why they would rush into selling. Offer open for 14 days. Plenty of time to see what comes out of the woodwork. | mammyoko
01/7/2019 09:06 | Respond from the co talks about clarifying the position with second interested partner, so still small chance of something happening | battlebus2
01/7/2019 07:52 | I made a turn on this and im certainly happy with that. Science group also purchasing 10 million in the market at 35p. | escapetohome |
