28/9/2017 08:49 | "The Smart Audio market is expected to be substantially larger than that of DAB. The Group's aim over the next 18 months is to establish itself as the leading system integrator in this sector" Excellent! | rob_evans
28/9/2017 08:44 | It always seemed an issue to me with IMG . Ultimately a share only has value for its dividends , or future dividend potential. | wad collector
28/9/2017 08:30 | Haha. Have the same issue with FB,GOOGL and AMZN. | monty panesar
28/9/2017 08:25 | Can't spot the Xd date. | wad collector
28/9/2017 08:13 | Looking like its heading to 200p imho. Off topic, take a look at PRS. I've posted some interesting research on the bb. | cliley454
28/9/2017 08:05 | Not surprised. Think it should be a lot higher in 6 months. | monty panesar
28/9/2017 08:04 | 1.52 to buy | amt
28/9/2017 07:55 | A very good read 1st time I have been happy with a report ....for years Let the market do what it's going to do I think they have under-promised on the DAB side-Norway has provided a pugs but it's a small country , many more European/worldwide countries will transition.I like the 'tone' of the statement....looks like the 'significant' improvement in EDITDA may give room for even better final year figures :-) I think this could go up 20% within a month, I will still be in the red, but less so | sweenoid
28/9/2017 07:53 | The sales cycle is such their revenues are heavily weighted to H2. I can see this being well over £2 shortly. The real excitement could be if the Google product goes into "mass production" in the first half of next year..That would be boom time! | monty panesar
28/9/2017 07:47 | xXTiPSXHEETSXx (99) | purple11
28/9/2017 07:45 | The market had full year expectation EBITDA at £1.5m - H1 they have done £1.1m (an increase over last year of £1.5m) and expect to be "..significantly ahead of current market expectations". I like it!! | adventurous
28/9/2017 07:43 | Much better than I had hoped for. What's not to like? All other chipmakers trade on over 6x sales and this trades on barely 1x. I expect major re-rating over coming months. | monty panesar
28/9/2017 07:41 | Seems to be on a role and now fixed costs are stable the GP should drop to bottom line si a couple of years out this looks very cheap with market cap of only 50m. | amt
28/9/2017 07:41 | Significantly ahead of market expectations | purple11
28/9/2017 07:25 | The slowing of growth in Digital and Advanced Radio is however expected to be offset by Smart Audio. Group revenues from Smart Audio are currently on an upward trend, with H2 2017 revenues expected to be significantly higher than in H1 2017. Whilst the sector remains in the early stages of development, several new models based on Frontier solutions have recently received Google certification and initial orders for these products are encouraging. | bowles22
28/9/2017 07:25 | Smart Audio Frontier continues to be one of a small number of technology providers working with Google on its Chromecast platform. Having delivered the first design wins for the Group's Minuet platform, there are now two strands to Frontier's engineering spend; first, continuing to enhance the existing solution (e.g. by adding new features such as wireless stereo) and; second, the development of a new version of Minuet incorporating Google's Voice Assistant. Subject to Google approvals, this voice-enabled solution should be ready for mass production in H1 2018. Discussions with potential customers are currently under way. | bowles22
28/9/2017 07:21 | I'm a bit disappointed, tbh. | crashbang
28/9/2017 07:10 | Going higher today.IMO | drw1
27/9/2017 21:53 | Life if crime Evidence that HY got it wrong when we see mips being sold at a big loss after a few years of investment. What a disaster. They should have concentrated on pvr. Yes the 1970s was a disaster of a decade when the country was run by the trade union leaders and the country went bust. With the existing eye watering debt of the country Corbin is the last thing the country needs. I really fear for the future at the moment. If many people are unhappy currently as evidenced by Brexit it could get much much worse. We should be very grateful for what we have currently after the sacrifices made by many in the early 1980s (austerity and unemployment on an epic scale)to turn things around that could all be wasted if wrong choices are made now. | amt
27/9/2017 17:10 | Thegreatgeraldo Some on here are old enough to remember Lloyd George's 1909 budget, that didn't go down well either ;-)( not referring to me of course) Till the morrow, I am almost excited 😊 S | sweenoid
27/9/2017 16:51 | I am sure there is a board for Corbyn fantasists as well, and I am no Tory! | life of crime
27/9/2017 15:43 | Living within your means is a daft way to cut a deficit, far better to borrow your way out of debt. | greenroom78
27/9/2017 15:36 | I'm old enough to remember Osborne's Fantasy Budget in 2010, where he talked about eliminating the deficit by 2015 ;-#)) Think they're hoping to balance the books by about 2025..... let's hope the brexit "negotiations" recover from the current shambles, otherwise that 2025 target will look very optimistic. Anyway, sure there's a board somewhere on here where tory fantasists can peddle their waffle, so I'll make no further comments here on the inadequacy & incompetence of the current tory govt & look forward to tomorrow's interims from FST. Ciao! | thegreatgeraldo |
