Shareprice only hit about ~$2 2ish years ago because some fool honestly thought an incomplete fs solution was in all selling Google products. 😂
Once it became apparent it wasn't the case, FS slumped back to its 2p (in old money) price.
I sold at $2 once this became apparent back then 😂

Price may already be at or above the 'attractive premium' to the price on 17th that was offered. I am unaware of the source that has suggested it was at 30p. I am a long-term holder of SAG and I wouldn't bet on Martyn Ratcliffe letting excitement get the better of him to push the price up any further. SAG is a very conservatively-run Group and it isn't obvious to me how FST fits into their existing activities. They are a bunch of chemists and biologists who act as consultants in product development processes. Ratcliffe has stated that he is looking for opportunities in other areas but this may just be about him trying to show that they are doing something as he has been talking about trying to unlock the perceived value in SAG for some years with no great success

If Silicon Labs or NXP jump in it could go a lot higher. With annual industry growth rate in DAB of 17% FST maybe quite attractive to either of them. The agreement for IOT with NXP is interesting.

I think this will get bought around 40p - 45p mark, not much good for long term holders. The remaining shares will get bought up in the coming weeks. If you were lucky to average down then may come OUT even. A while to go yet in share price may provide a opportunity.

birkenhead - I raised the question directly with the CEO and FD yonks ago and was advised that the cost of re-registering was extremely high and thus only the name was changed. Seemed a bit feeble to me at the time.
