Yes there are scumbags on the main markets too - remember Afren? Any investment requires proper research. Mug punters like smcl trust to luck and will lose far more gambling on the AIM casino than gambling on main markets. I have zero sympathy for people like that, they are fools who should be parted from their money.

No I was not caught by Quindell, Rob Terry had done it all before. I did manage to save some of the people who were prepared to listen though. I was not caught by the WRN scams either as Aidan Earley has been doing the same for decades.

The problem is that people like Pinocchio🤥Parsons has mates in the City all too eager to lend him start-up monies-knowing that Joe Public is only too eager to strike his own El Dorado, factor in professional “tipsters̶1; like Fat Malcy, throw in the mix some gullible paid?rampers, and there you go.

If I got a £1 for every time someone says DYOR I could retire, the deck is loaded against you, always was/is and will be, twas ever thus.

You just have to be incredibly lucky at the right time...Covid Companies, a case in question.🤞

SK2 you got caught with Quindell-so did I-ouch😔 and nothing has been done. I do think that the regulatory authorities have a vested interest in not pursuing these charlatans, as it would undermine the whole investment market.

I have a contrarian view and think a clean-up would prevent further recurrences and establish The Uk a safe place to invest, BWTFDIK SK2

Oh gawd- such self centred drivel! It’s not just on AIM on comes across ‘scumbags̵7; to use your terminology. They exist in all facets of life and nobody however ‘cute and street wise’ can avoid the time when things go wrong! You could be in the wrong place and the wrong time. At least on AIM all you may/might/could lose is Money- not your life!

Pays to keep things in an appropriate perspective - perhaps?
