At just -8% down I would suggest the market is not that concerned. I'm a big holder in profit and I've no intention of selling on this news.

Big news week/month ahead.

The problem with that @fozzer is that if it was such a benign situation then FRR would just tell you that was the case. The fact they are keeping quiet suggests to me that it is more serious. Don't forget FRR never release bad news.

Assuming the TW article is correct the GOGC may want the other fields that FRR currently are not drilling i.e the shale play and Basin edge. If those fields are idle then maybe the GOGC feel justified in requesting them back and letting another operator in.

All guess work, do I think the MK and Taribani fields (under 10% of the license) are at risk? No.

@peter indeed although obviously Block 12 is of great value to Zaza as he's made a fortune selling paper to PIs on the hope that its got some value. Your point is valid though as if GOGC shared my view I doubt they'd bother with arbitration.


Worth noting that in today's RNS FRR state they think there is no reason for the arbitration request but then go on to say they don't yet know what it's about. And you guys continue to trust them?

FRR has not tried to develop the basin edge play so perhaps that’s vulnerable? It sounds tenuous in that it says m certain terms of the PSC which I bet is gas related.

Anyway, I expect an RNS on Dino reaching TD this week and some detail on the drill ahead of the logging results. Fair play to those who bought in the 0.40s and unlucky for anyone who had stop losses hit.

You must remember that it was less than a month ago that the share price was at 0.40p.
So this news as it was not good is now out the way and we have a clear run of hopefully good news to come.
I still think it will hit 0.85p with ease over the next few weeks.
Never be greedy, that is still a nice profit.

I won't be too harsh on FRR as we don't know the full details and maybe the whole episode will be settled out of court anyway. If nothing is finalized and it doesn't get to court then why tell the market? It sounds like it's still early days.

Am I concerned? No at all. However, today has been a drag in what should have been the start of a transformational week.

it also works the other way with GOGC. If they want to deal they must think there is something worth while down there now. So that puts FRR in a strong place to do some kind of deal which will include them getting an exploration licence faster.
There are always two sides to a coin.

Too early to say but it would appear B12 is worth fighting for. I'm not concerned that it will have a material impact on my investment.

If TW has inside information and it appears he did. He said the GOGC want 50% of the license back. Well the Taribani and MK fields (Where the oil and Gas are) make up about 10% of the total of B12. FRR have had all permits issued super fast so I doubt these fields are in the mix. Maybe the GOGC want the Basin and edge and Shale gas fields back.

There's no way Zaza can dodge this question at the 09 MAY meeting so we'll find out then. No panic from me, irritated that the RNS has distracted from a massive month of drilling results.

Tomorrows a new day though.

Do I think 1.2p is still on should T45 have success? Yes.

I think the real issue here is that FRR tweeted to reassure on Friday and then were obviously forced by the NOMAD to fess up to arbitration today. If I was a bull I'd feel pretty stabbed in the back. If this was the US FRR would be facing law suits over misleading the market in such a way.

Arbitration takes years and is incredibly expensive so that's another drag on cash.

I still think there will be no material success at T45 or the other explo. They may get some short term flows which will be ramped to death but there is plenty of hot money here that will sell into it.

Let's hope @fozzer can get a bit better at ramping and get the price up. I didn't make enough money this morning.

Well thank you TW managed to buy my spread bets that i sold friday back at a lot lower. Yes i did post this info friday.

I do like the fact that this rns was just released after YA had finished selling.
Anyway hope these that were shorting closed them, as they will soon have them shorts on fire again.

You do have to laugh at this AIM market.
