27/2/2018 12:14 | Another very encouraging RNS,I am buying at these levels! | ccr1958
27/2/2018 12:11 | peterpowell - if you mention the name 'Frontera' to anyone in the city who's out of short trousers, i.e. been around the blocks, and you will get a raised eyebrow or two - putting it politely. | bumpa33
27/2/2018 12:06 | bumpa interesting post. HE makes some telling points. But again they are forced to inform investors, so maybe thats why it was not a complete update. Maybe they want to hold this info back for a few days so then YA will be able to sell there next months batch into any rise. Or maybe they just don't have a clue. Time will tell. | peterpowell21
27/2/2018 11:57 | peterpowell - how about a 12 year timeline? | bumpa33
27/2/2018 11:56 | What an earth is Mr."no.1 analyst" Phillips on about? Wait 3 weeks for the stimulation results then we'll have our answers. The oil is there waiting to be tickled. In the meantime Mr No.1 analyst take a look at Dino 2 flowing un-stimulated oil from just one zone. The potting shedders have been well and truly shafted by the plastic bloggers. Just an opinion | thefozzer
27/2/2018 11:55 | Dodge city I think there concept of time is the same as all AIM companies. They seem to be on time with this project. But people seem to want result yesterday these days. i am a believer of not giving time lines, even when companies are waiting on governments, people expect timelines, when they say imminent they get slaughtered. What can they say, we have no clue? Then they get slaughtered. But saying that i hate being lied to. But if you have never been lied to by a AIM company you are one in a million. | peterpowell21
27/2/2018 11:37 | Uber ramp meet the City's No 1 oil analyst, Zac "The Knife" Phillips of share price Angel. Today's protestations from Frontera (FRR) do not impress the knife who opines: Frontera Resources – Why No Live Oil? With every announcement comes more questions than answers, and underlines our belief that this management team are not asking the right questions, if they know what they are. Today’s announcement is no different. Today we are told that porosity is above expectations, as is net pay. We are also told that the cuttings had oil shows, but there is no mention of live oil in the mud, which is what you would expect. Consequently, we are left asking a number of questions: (i) was is the permeability; (ii) what is the oil saturation; (iii) has the oil migrated through, or is the permeability so low that the oil is compartmentalised; (iv) what does all the data (not just the positive data) tell you in comparison to your initial hypothesis. Every time these questions don’t get answered, our nagging doubt that the team don’t have the answers, or know what questions to ask. We are increasingly left with the belief that either the management don’t know what their looking at, which speaks their lack of technical skills, or they do know, which begs the question as to why they’re not telling people. It’s one to be optimistic, as every oil and gas investor has a right to do, but there comes a point at which you have to question the lack of data. We believe that the fact that this company has been operating on these assets for a significant period of time, these are now urgent questions for investors to ask. | bumpa33
27/2/2018 10:45 | The trouble is that FRR's concept of time is different from that of investors. | dodge city
27/2/2018 10:39 | only time will tell. ...and their lies the rub. Hope will always remain as long as there's someone selling it. It is of course impossible for the bears to say that there is no hope. Take care cupcakes. | loglorry1
27/2/2018 10:35 | agree peterpowell, only time will tell. i'd assume they'd have something funky to show good old Malcy so maybe there'll be a bump from that... | bumpa33

The logs and subsequent analysis by the company indicate that the combined column of pay in Zones 9, 14 and 15 amount to 98.9m with an average porosity of 16.3%. This compares to pre-drill expectations for 53m of combined pay with a porosity of 15%. In our opinion, the increased pay has a linear relationship to oil in place and the increased scale based on logging analysis heightens the interest in the forthcoming well result. Since undertaking our due diligence and field visit, we have had a very high appreciation of the potential of the Taribani field, which is now being supported by the logging analysis. We still believe that the prospectivity of the field is supported most robustly by almost nine years of production data from the fracked Zone 9 (with 13 meters of pay) at the Dino-2 well with cumulative production amounting to 74,000 barrels of oil. We believe that the success of the forthcoming hydraulic fracture completions of Zones 9, 14 and 15 will depend on the successful cementing of the well’s casing, its completion and finally the frack operations. Therefore, as with all fracture completed wells, success is largely dependent on operational factors. Today’s announcement is positive in terms of the oil in place estimates for the field and is supportive of a potentially highly successful well test. | peterpowell21
27/2/2018 10:05 | bumpa But you can't argue that 99.9% of directors only have there own interests at heart. Its just the way AIM is and regulated. They still have hoops to jump through here. I can see why the share price is not rising because of what has gone on here over the years. Only time will tell. | peterpowell21
27/2/2018 10:03 | From WHI Jack, "In our opinion, the increased pay has a linear relationship to oil in place and the increased scale based on logging analysis heightens the interest in the forthcoming well result." I'll translate that comment...it means a lot lot more oil. Just an opinion. | thefozzer
27/2/2018 10:00 | peterpowell - we’re all just trying to make money, but on the long tack it’s best to start with directors who have your best interests at heart, not theirs :) ____________________ Bump, Watch where the informed money goes, very rarely does it flow into AIM stocks these days. However, on this occasion the city likes what it's seen and has fronted a cool 1.5m gbp and committed to the 4 well drilling campaign... Shhhhhh...let's see what next month brings. Just an opinion | thefozzer

27/2/2018 09:38 | Bumper Waiting for the large pump for UD2. 13th Feb RNS Frontera Resources Corporation (AIM: FRR), the European focused independent oil and gas exploration and production company, is pleased to announce that the service contract has been executed with the service company to provide pressure pumping equipment and services for stimulation of Zones 9, 14 and 15 in the Taribani wells T-45, Dino-2 and T-39, and for the stimulation of Zone F in the Mtsarekhevi Gas Complex's well Ud-2. Preparations are currently underway to commence the equipment mobilisation. As previously announced, Zones 9, 14 and 15 of each of the wells T-45, Dino-2 and T-39 will be stimulated and produced together. So you see the info is there if you care to look. Not even that long ago. but i get the feeling you have been burnt here and any news is bad news in your eyes. I can except you posting the way you do. But i am sure even if they reported flow rate in the 1000's you would not believe or find fault. | peterpowell21
27/2/2018 09:38 | I agree. The market will not trust FRR until numbers are confirmed and oil is being sold. The years of half truths, misinformation, missed deadlines, massive dilution are hopefully over. Zaza, Dustin and FRR has to achieve the estimated 300-400bopd from T-45 and given the logging has exceeded expectations you'd hope it will be nearer or over 400bopd. No more excuses. | tickboo
27/2/2018 09:29 | Bumpa i agree with you about companies being liars. That goes for 99.9% of them. but we still try and find that one or two companies that finally after many years do hit the jackpot. I have most my money in FTSE 100, but hell its more fun trying to find that winner on AIM. | peterpowell21
27/2/2018 09:27 | "i agree the market and investors want the flow rates. But you have to go step by step." Neutron porosity is not share price sensitive information. No need to publish it unless you are an unscrupulous company promoter. | nobull
27/2/2018 09:22 | and Ud2? Whatever happened to that one! | bumpa33
27/2/2018 09:21 | How can you get flow rates before they've perforated then stimulated?! I agree flow rates will move the share price but they've given us logging results. I assume they'll crack on with the next stages and flow rates will follow. | tickboo
27/2/2018 09:19 | "Flow rates always hiding, i've looked everywhere..." | bumpa33
27/2/2018 09:16 | Flow rate is ? | sux_2bu
27/2/2018 09:12 | Bad news since they raised the cash and got an II to put £1.5m in with a 6 month lock in. I doubt it. They said they'd aim to start testing end of Feb so they seem to be finally sticking to a timeline. Anyway, more news to follow in the coming weeks and my bet is it will stay between 0.48 and 0.51 or so. | tickboo |
