Oakville - Re your other comment, let's just make this clear shall we:

Sebire didn't add to his total beneficiary holding, yesterday.

He simply bought the stock from his own family trust.

It is most likely a tax planning move, to create a capital loss within the trust, to offset against other gains and reduce the CGT liability.
It's quite possible that the shares in question will be sold back to the family trust, in a month or two's time.

All IMHO, DYOR etc.

Oakville - I'm sorry but you are clearly just another lying ramper.

Companies generally don't announce market sensitive information to any muppet who phones them up.

Oakville - For the fifty, or so, companies on the LSE hitlist, they will be suspended and I believe they then have a further six months to complete a transaction, or risk being totally delisted(which for many means losing their only asset. i.e. their AIM listing).

As far as I'm aware, this won't apply to FLG, as they have only recently become a shell and thus have more time to effect a RTO.

However, please note that this is my interpretation of the new rules, so please take professional advice, if you have significant sums invested in any company that may be affected by the rule changes.

All IMHO, DYOR etc.

oakville - Are you one of several that bought late yesterday after misinterpreting yesterday's RNS?

Assuming that you haven't just made it up, who is your broker and why does he think that?
FWIW, I don't believe that the Mar 31st deadline applies to FLG and I'd have thought that any competent broker should be aware of that.
There are, however, allegedly at least fifty companies that the deadline does apply to....

Of course, FLG will hopefully announce an RTO at some stage but I'd imagine thay are currently in competition with a lot of shells that are frantically trying to find reversal candidates prior to April 1st...

All IMHO, DYOR etc.

My broker believes that a planned reverse take-over will be announced by the end of March. What will this do to the share price ? and is it good or bad news ?

safman - are you having a laugh?

Sebire has bought the shares from his own family trust.
i.e. the reported transaction is simply a bit of end of year tax planning, IMHO.

"........Mr Sebire's previously disclosed beneficial holding of 5,520,412 ordinary shares........remains unchanged following the purchase".
