01/8/2017 09:12 | Adding to what you say Topicel, they also have a nice project pipeline, production set to reach 80Moz of silver from memory and their operations are in safe jurisdiction. | ukgeorge
01/8/2017 09:09 | What am I missing? Looks like a stonking set of results and yet the share price falls..... | ifthecapfits
01/8/2017 08:42 | As always, steady results with the dividend making it a solid hold if not spectacular one. Diversification into the PM space in the FTSE 100 is really only to be had here and Rangold (RRS) and funds and institutions will obviously retain an interest if that is their gambit. I still maintain this can double if we get serious hints of geopolitical turmoil and so with little downside in that regard it must be rated sensible to have some Fresnillo under your pillow! 01/8/2017 07:56 | The Board of Directors has declared an interim dividend of 10.6 US cents per share totalling US$78.1 million which will be paid on 8 September 2017 to shareholders on the register on 11 August 2017. This decision was made after a comprehensive review of the Group's financial situation, assuring that the Group is well placed to meet its current and future financial requirements, including its development and exploration projects. | enami
01/8/2017 07:42 | Stevea171 Thanks for that. Just been through the RNS and it looks pretty good to me, (although i`m no expert!). Hopefully a rise from here..... | marcusm1000
31/7/2017 19:52 | Marcus. FRES being Ftse100 must have analysts from the institutions all over it. The share price performance since Q2 production results last week suggests that the institutions are only luke warm about FRES's interim results tomorrow. As no sale or cost details are yet disclosed you would need to be a close follower of Mexican gold and silver major's to know if they are right or wrong .... | stevea171
31/7/2017 14:28 | Silver looking particularly strong today. | ifthecapfits
31/7/2017 11:17 | Stevea171 Do you think this is going to under perform with tomorrows Interims? As is 3.9% plus is still a positive! Thanks M. | marcusm1000
31/7/2017 08:22 | You have to laugh at the NK launch news is always confined to the weekend and by the re-opening of Markets it has blown itself out, Trump has tweeted himself silly and impact on PMs and other safe havens is minimal. We'll hopefully hear more sabre rattling this week but don't bet on it...they don't want gold and silver prices shooting up even before the inevitable US debt ceiling debacle and likely Government shutdown that has happened before. $20 trillion debt ... What fun. Topicel | topicel
28/7/2017 16:13 | Disappointing performance again given action in physical prices. Ho hum. One day rodders. | ifthecapfits
27/7/2017 13:13 | You'll find out next week most probably. FRES is not at all upfront with it's performance. eg It has highlighted the silver production gain but gold is down and overall production is up but only 3.9%. Where does it say that in the result yesterday? What does it ever say about AISC? That's right. Zilch! | stevea171
27/7/2017 11:53 | Seems weak today relative to wider GDX move seen.Thoughts on why? Thanks | mharrison60
26/7/2017 21:06 | BLAST-OFF TOMORROW....... :))) | goldenshare888
26/7/2017 15:18 | FRES announces Q2 and H1/2017 production results this morning. It seems all is good with their production in Mexico and on track to meet production guidance for FY 2017. H1 silver production: +11.2% H1 gold production: -0.4% Silver equiv oz: +3.9% Have to wait till next week to see financials. This is below the HOC H1/17 result - 17.0 million Ag equiv oz to 17.9 +5%. | stevea171
26/7/2017 08:49 | As ever Fresnillo delivers. Good solid company and FTSE 100 staple that the investment and pension funds like for those reasons. Upside is tremendous given any return to significant price gains in silver and gold and, as we know, the profits back into pounds with sterling as it is are also greatly enhanced... Bring on the US debt ceiling crisis and inevitable shutdown threats and PMs will move up and forecast profits here will balloon. Topicel | topicel
26/7/2017 08:43 | Results look pretty good. | ifthecapfits
26/7/2017 07:57 | Looks like a good production report On track to achieve 2017 production guidance of 58-61 moz silver (including Silverstream) and 870-900 koz gold NEXT 01 Aug 2017 1H17 Interim Results 25 Oct 2017 3Q17 Production Report | enami
26/7/2017 07:21 | Very good..... :))) | goldenshare888
25/7/2017 07:23 | Does anyone have any idea what Q2 figures a likely to be? | marcusm1000
24/7/2017 17:24 | Indeed, but it is probably selling before the second quarter figures and buying back in then I'd imagine. Topicel | topicel
24/7/2017 10:56 | ITCF - its not alone Centamin has mirrored the price action in Fres - logic no longer applies in the so called "market" | glynthebox2
24/7/2017 10:15 | I don't get this share any longer. PMs strong = FRES weak.... | ifthecapfits
19/7/2017 14:39 | Come on FRES wake up! PM's going on a march... | ifthecapfits |
