Well said! Trust your own judgement, there's nothing worse than seeing a nice paper profit turn into a loss because you listened to someone else.:-)

Agreed, he's no "bad boy" imo. I just got a bit irked the other day when I was indirectly ridiculed by him for taking nearly 40 pct profit on sty in a matter of three weeks. So what if I sold early and held it for only three weeks. I've held large rapid gains before only to see them evaporate.Anyway won't hold it against him ....much haha.

I've been reading ADVFN threads for 13 years. CR is not a "bad boy" - it is up to each individual/poster/reader to make their own decisions about what they buy or short and there is nothing to be gained by blaming anyone else for your own mistakes.

Budget gives nothing for big end buyers SDLT remains the same, big end buyers walked into Mayfair 2008/09 buying dirt cheap, the big buying whether it be legally obtained monies or from dubious sources has disappeared, leaving many agents & developers desperately trying to talk the market up, it's a losing battle, the game is over for this cycle.

No Russians left to buy now, many are trying to liquidate their central London stashes, the trouble is no one wants to buy unless cheap, they know the Russians need to sell fast to address problems back home! Don't you just love the free market economy, many crooks getting stuffed now lol!

Cash is king, some excellent bargains coming up for those with patience.

The only thing that could come good from the programme is if FOXT are approached and turn down the deal, otherwise they will just be tarred with the same brush

High-end estate agents are helping foreign criminals launder money through London properties, it has been revealed.

In an undercover investigation, journalists posing as a corrupt Russian politician and his girlfriend viewed five mansions in central London with price tags ranging from £3 million to £15 million.

Despite being told that the money being used was obtained illegally, the Channel 4 programme shows agents from reputable firms such as Winkworth, Chard, Domus Nova, Marsh & Parsons and Bective Leslie Marsh agreeing to move forward with the sales.

You would think with Foxtons strict code of ethics they wouldn't fall for "From Russia with Cash" sting, looking forward to tonight's exposure as to which agents have been somewhat naughty!

Lack of prime London property sales, batters the commissions, has been an easy short, should go to 100-120p once the London property market enters into a correction.

Anyone noticed on rightmove under SW8 in the last 14 days 350+ apartments have been added, huge over supply hitting the market now, there are thousands of unsold apartments in Battersea riverside developments..distaster unfolding!

From Russia with cash is on c4 tomorrow night 10pm. Some top agents are no doubt getting their PR teams in place for damage limitations!

Tomorrow's budget could have a bearing on direction too.
