UK house prices: Mortgage approvals have their biggest spike since April 2009:

mello - I've done the same on these in the past - all I can say is that I blinked afterwards and the stock had rallied to above what I had added at and I was asking myself why I didn't buy more!

Very illiquid for its size, when a seller gets done and there's suddenly no easy stock to get then it can rally in a flash.

Getting ready to top up here - dips like this have been great opportunities in the past imo.

Due a dip, but the rebound will be sharp and sweet imo.

If you check rightmove type in SW8 click on buy, do not specify anything and you will see 1000+ apartments for sale, look through the first 10 pages (100 properties) and 95% remain unsold, many since last year or many months ago.

There are thousands more due to hit the market this year too, who is going to buy them?

Testing the recent highs today - can see that 295p resistance getting tested before long imo - one post election property survey should do it imo.
