In fairness to IM he's basically pre warned investors so all loses should be already baked into the price. So it either no news or good news tomorrow

No selling pre RNS so no placing IMO,

Not sure the results will be good.

If they as expected then same old, if bad, same old.

If better/good (unlikely), but would be a perfect storm.

yep we know the historical will be rubbish

question is whether Ian has anything of substance to say about the future

if not - i fear it might be 2p, chaps...hate to say it though

that said, if Ian breaks the mould and comes up with a zinger or two then we could be heading back to 15p+

"is aerodynamically unstable"

i heard some time ago the stealth bomber (or was it the fighter) was the case and without the on-board computers continuously compensating for this it would indeed fall out of the sky.

"the British bumblebee"

now there's a good thread title!

same applies to the butterly, according to the self appointed experts they should not be able to fly either (shows how little they know!).

As we have all been here quite a while it's an exciting day tomorrow, but I'm not getting any hopes up. Seen these days come and go before, let's hope whatever Ian has to say will have a positive impact on the share price Too late to sell in any case if we go down to 2p so may be it.

Ps... And if there is any sort of a leak, we could start to see that in trading in the next hour or so... 😱 😊 😱 😊

Chris.... I also do not have a good feeling about tomorrow. Simply due to cash burn- At £170k a month (approx).. FBT need approx 2 x 100k RNS's per Month just to extend and that simply hasn't happened and as pointed out such deals are market sensitive and would need to be announced... The 20 x £60k deals may work, legitimately, but it seems unhelpful all round not to announce in a trading update..
The 2017 results will confirm liquid funds (-3months) and not much calculation needed to confirm the current position.
Golden Hellos, BOD Bonuses and any additional staffing costs will be made known, so this board, maybe on fire 🔥 one way or another....

The @blackbird website launch may be very positive in that they announce further developments to the Technology as I cannot believe that Mr Streater would have been sitting around for the past 6 months..

One thing for sure is if market traders smell any LTS weakness they will pounce!...

Sincerely hope it's a good week or so for all connected with FBT ....Good Luck All..

Hopefully they don't move to cheaper premises outside Wimbledon.

Would be terrible if SS actually needed to commute.

I have a horrible feeling that the Stealth Bomber, which seems to have an uncanny resemblance to the Blackbird motif adopted by FBT, is aerodynamically unstable. I hope I am wrong but, if so, I am pinning my hopes on the British bumblebee, which as we all know according to the experts cannot fly... but it does!!! Simply because it doesn't follow the herd but does something different.

There is next to no SAAS income from AWS or Microsoft, despite being told 2017 was the year they would be bringing in the $.

The clue....results are worse than last year and there have been no announcements. RNS or no RNS - there has been zero press. Nada.

And let's remember kiddies, from the AGM nearly 10 months ago:

"Whilst this pipeline has larger deals sizes than before we are currently experiencing a slower conversion rate than we had expected. However, since the beginning of the year we have announced two multi-year deals with Deltatre, including one in the last week. In addition, two weeks ago we announced a deal with Gfinity, our first client in the rapidly growing market of eSports. In the coming months we are expecting to continue to build our sales through larger deals with longer terms than we have historically signed."

I assume the last sentence has simply not come to pass.

I don't know how other companies deal with saas contracts. I do know of another company that switched to open ended contracts where usage could be increased at a later date. There they stopped issuing RNS where the increase was one that, if it had been a new contract, would have been required making any estimate of sales pure guesswork. Much like FBT but with the added uncertainty about whether there are any new contracts at all!

wonder how that works with saas where you pay as you go.

It's very difficult in the absence of any information at all to know what to think. We do know that as of now they have not signed any deal which would put on 10% of turnover in the year (the 5% of profit doesn't apply as they have never made one)as that would be a mandatory RNS. But I think the test is done on a deal by deal basis. So they could have done 10 deals at <£60K and nothing would have to be reported.... though most AIM companies would say something even if it was a trade press release. I am sure that if IM has got a couple of good contracts in his pocket he will use them on Thursday to deflect investors attention from last year's figures. If they were good enough they might even put the frequently rumoured placing to bed.
