07/3/2018 19:24 | If the results are on Main's watch, he needs to go.Someone should be accountable. | bonio10000
07/3/2018 18:55 | The results due aren't Aziz or IM either. This is the last chance the company has to pin performance on no CEO (despite having David Main), so I expect that's what they'll say. I always said the real test for IM is the interims. These results were basically out of his hands. The way the company communicates and the total disaster that is their marketing is entirely in his hands. He's not bought himself any time or friends investor side so far. | aimster4400
07/3/2018 18:49 | NickB, Couldn't disagree more. The industry is getting by without fbt, blackbird or whatever, it must be marketed and sold. I think the sales figures prove the tech has not sold itself. | mcsean2164
07/3/2018 17:55 | It is a RNS reach, logged. | sideshowbull
07/3/2018 17:38 | The Emmy piece is simply a Press Release. It's neither an RNS or an RNS Reach as either would show on the LSE site and neither are there. So it proves that they do know how to publicise good trade news even though they haven't done so in the past. | chriscallen
07/3/2018 16:38 | Nope in my view not really, the Technology has to sell itself no sales guy can sell duff tech to high level CTO at major broadcasters. It’s all extensive testing to get through that will win the contracts but only if the technology works for them. Ian can negotiate the fees 💰 Of course that’s if we don’t get acquired first Or run out of money and die an AIM company death. (Most likely outcome perhaps? Some shareholders here are not optimistic ) Wonder which way it will go | nickb
07/3/2018 16:20 | With effective Sales, Marketing and Management....ԅ | paulcon1
07/3/2018 16:17 | It’s the Blackbird Technology that will make investors rich😀㈑ | nickb
07/3/2018 16:09 | 'Some of the investors money has funded the development of the technology ... 😉 | paulcon1
07/3/2018 16:03 | Investors have funded the development of the technology😉& | nickb
07/3/2018 15:29 | 'For an investor who has had nothing to do with the production of the technology, it has to be all about the share price' .... 😉 | paulcon1
07/3/2018 15:05 | I think it’s the technology that is being awarded not Aziz! It’s all about the technology😉 | nickb
07/3/2018 15:01 | 2016 is Aziz's tenure. My experience with a very experienced well regarded manager taking over was not good. There was a deal on the table to save the company, the well regarded manager involved himself, the deal was pulled and the company went into administration. I suspect IM has someone in mind to sell the codec but if that fails he has pulled the plug on promoting Forscene. After Aziz Forscene became a viewer at BBC, now we're a codec company. If they focussed on selling Forscene they might actually turn a profit but here we are, interesting times ahead. | mcsean2164
07/3/2018 14:49 | It looks to me like the MSG deal was signed under Aziz, or am I wrong? | aimster4400
07/3/2018 14:46 | They're all in the same league with winners and losers. Upstarts like bill gates and mark Zuckerberg with no experience have done alright. Im has not done well at fbt for shareholders to date. | mcsean2164
07/3/2018 14:36 | agreed that Ian is/should be in a different league | geheimnis2
07/3/2018 14:32 | Fascinating that they appear to be stopping the promotion of Forscene. | nickb
07/3/2018 14:25 | I reckon Ian is in a different league to Aziz who had no experience dealing with high level TV executives that Ian has. | nickb
07/3/2018 14:15 | Well - Jason left after a trip by them to Atos in SA. Maybe he wouldn;t spoon on the overnight? | bonio10000
07/3/2018 14:15 | The Emmy nomination is not only an achievement for FBT, it is an achievement for a UK company.. With the doom and gloom surrounding Brexit, this story would be willingly picked up by Newspapers and Television not forgetting Company/ Share channels... The fact it hasn't (to date) reflects poorly on the Marketing Team.... IMHO | paulcon1
07/3/2018 14:13 | Mcsean Why is it FBT fault that the rns doesn’t show up here? | nickb
07/3/2018 14:01 | Aziz became CEO 6 October 2015 and Aziz resigned on 22 Feb 2017. When he joined share price was approx 5.5p The day before his departure was announced FBt was trading at 10p. I had a lot of issue with Aziz but that is a great track record. Compare it with IM. The Emmy nomination was won under Azziz's watch too. Personally, I think Jason and Aziz had a falling out. | mcsean2164
07/3/2018 13:51 | sounds like the levels of buffoonery in Sudan will be ticking up a notch then? | geheimnis2
07/3/2018 13:47 | On the subject of Aziz Apparently the issue was travel - so he up sticks to Sudan? One has to assume he was pushed and, given the results due, quite rightly so. | bonio10000 |
