26/8/2018 16:52 | IM is very ambitious for Blackbird adoption. Brilliant! | nickb
26/8/2018 16:47 | Paul It’s a blue sky tech stock We appear to be talking to very large US Technology giants. We have disruptive technology to solve internet video problems the technology has taken years to develop and was developed at a time well before it was needed. Now the time has arrived we will see if those big US tech players want it. Exciting times for those of us who have invested for Blue Sky only. | nickb
26/8/2018 13:34 | Chris Agree with most of that, so far the CEO and FBT have been all 'talk and potential' and false starts, lets see if, finally, this ground breaking tech can transform the industry and put smiles on FBT faces. I find FBT odd, as the company should be more high profile and financially successful than they currently are ..... 😢 GL | paulcon1
25/8/2018 17:38 | Mk Thread title for next year 2019: The Buffoons inherit the earth | geheimnis2
25/8/2018 17:27 | I've looked at IMs past record which, in anybody's terms,is impressive. Looking at his record with FBT he has certainly shaken it up. He hasn't got experience of small, AIM listed companies and could be more pro-active in respect of news feeds: not everything of interest is an RNS or an RNS Reach. BUT he clearly has a vision and is sticking to it. Until proved otherwise I think his targeting the USA is right and more likely to yield very substantial results than any other plan. If FBT can win big there then the rest of the world will follow. If sales tailed off in quarter 2 they really ought to have said something by now as they set up an expectation that the trend would continue. So I stick to my ball park figures hoping obviously to be at the top end. If they do hit it then only one or two wins on the West Coast of the USA in Q4 will change the total perception of the company. In 2019 they either deliver substantial returns or fail. | chriscallen
25/8/2018 17:05 | We’ve been saying that for years and years though nick Hasn’t come true Hence depression | geheimnis2
25/8/2018 15:11 | SP yes as if being able to buy shares at a fraction of their eventual value is so depressing! | nickb
25/8/2018 12:28 | Sickness Thanks for posting. How some shareholders can be so depressed about FBT I don’t know. | nickb
25/8/2018 09:47 | The buffoons will inherit the earth? | geheimnis2
25/8/2018 09:14 | Chris The CEO certainly believes the product has huge growth potential. His 'partnerships with West Coast guys' comment is interesting as he has used that before. It is one thing for meetings to yield positive even 'wow' comments re the product, but he is suggesting they have gone a lot further than that with regards partnerships. What are your thoughts? | paulcon1
24/8/2018 22:48 | That interview was a great end to this week. I feel confident that my investment here has to be my biggest opportunity ever, or the opposite. Anyway hoping for a 100% increase in share price that would cut my losses :) | keystudio
24/8/2018 20:54 | In a nutshell... "On where Blackbird is heading ... McDonough: We are widely used in the B2B space. But where I really want it to go is the ability for billions of people to view media, sports and entertainment using the high-quality, highly-responsive Blackbird technology. We’ve started with B2B, but can see ourselves in a B2B2C arena, probably with partnerships with the big tech guys on the West Coast. What Stephen Streater has invented, I knew was special when I first joined. But after being here a year and speaking at length to people far more knowledgeable than myself, I know what we’ve got is unique and a standout product." | chriscallen

24/8/2018 19:34 | So another pre-raising statement then that unfortunately didn't come to pass.A bit like the major e-commerce company. As the top brass is all the same, I think I'll ignore the current prophecies. | bonio10000
24/8/2018 18:23 | Microsoft will probably resell a couple of 10k projects for us and take 60pc commission.. | geheimnis2
24/8/2018 13:28 | I don’t think the financial results will make investors happy. A Positive forward looking statement will have to be made | nickb
24/8/2018 12:36 | It will be less. Great to see some new products. With a 2 year time period for enquiries to pilots to conversions, they should generate income in late 2020. Hopefully Lees will address Microsoft in the interims and how they were going to sell for us. | bonio10000
24/8/2018 12:14 | Still haven't got the notice of publication of the half year results - last year was late because they presumably wanted to announce IMs appointment as well. If they have managed to maintain the increased turnover mentioned earlier this year they should be doing between £650K - £700K for this half. Less would definitely be a disappointment, more would be encouraging. | chriscallen
24/8/2018 11:28 | They definitely seem to be stepping up a gear for IBC this year, much more high profile than last year . | timbo003 |
