No short position rake, and the recent news is now priced in here.I was in at 25p and sold at 50p after the news I believe you are talking about, so made a nice 100% profit.Can't see any more news coming for a while, other than a profit warning, followed by retrace to 25p and then a takeover move by you know who!I'll be back in at sub 30. GLA!

My worry here is the unforeseen. David Makin only holds 6 percent while his family hold over 55 percent being Daughter in law Amy mason 17.2 Son Thomas Makin 19.2CEO Daughter Clare Nesbitt 20.6Assuming none of the above family shares were sold to JD Sport recently then directly and indirectly the JD Sport / Makin clan hold a total of over 75 percent of this company.

I think take over is imminent, ii dropping price to fill jd order etc . This fits in with JD and they don't want any other rivals getting any larger percentage in FOOT. Next week will b interesting.

I would cut your losses Tony, this is heading back to mid 20s with no further news other than more profit warnings to come.
