Matthew - it is now ! Any thoughts on the large trades though, I have been holding back (from buying) from this morning due to the large ? trades with mid pricing.

I'm new to this share and I admit they spooked me a little.

the main thing I learnt during the year was to keep it simple, I spent a long time experimenting with various indicators but now I'm only interested in support, resistance and completions of obvious technical patterns on the short timescale I have found suits me best.

I got out of SHP at 8.905.. much too early.
but longed LOG at 8.265 so havent really lost out..
LOG still looks iffy to me however.. and i have a 3 hour meeting in 10 mins!
what to do .. what to do !!!!

seem to be calling every intraday trade wrong ...might just call it a day ;-(

had 2 good days .... will stick with my trades until they get stopped out (if they do) then call it a day ...

ruth I am self-taught from reading lots of books and other people's postings, and practice, practice, practice, it has taken a year and early on I made lots of mistakes. The best book is JJ Murphy and the most helpful poster I have come across is The Blind Squirrel over on the Motley Fool, he also has a website at www.cityhotdesk.co.uk which is well worth looking at but unfortunately it is not working at the moment.

ruth WPP is testing the big bear trendline - I'll be going short if it breaks below 750 as that will make intraday double top and should be good for 10-20 points, of course it could then go all the way back to 700 or even 660, but I personally am not interested in that as I won't be watching the markets tomorrow, taking another long weekend

the whole range between 660 and 780 could well be a bullish flag, if 780 goes it could move north rather violently
