22/4/2013 16:44 | Yes, disappointing news, but I'm not expecting a cut. As you'll know, the current market cap is about equal to the cash they have. If they can't maintain their dividend, who can? The statement reads like some of the missing current year revenue will be received next year. Perhaps they'll say more with the finals. Thinking aloud ... Fletcher King is very small, even for an AIM company. David Fletcher (Executive Chairman and 14% holder) is (I think) 68 years old. Nice established business for a private agency to reverse into? | ed 123
22/4/2013 15:55 | Geezz what a drop on a poor trading statement. I'm here for the dividend so let's hope it will be maintained. | battlebus2
17/12/2012 11:36 | Valued at Net Current Assets / 25p cash per share / negligable downside - circa 6% yield. Happy to remain a firm holder. | norbert colon
17/12/2012 07:48 | Not going to complain with those virtually identical results to last year- Outlook We continue to receive a satisfactory flow of regular income from our fund and asset management clients but transaction fees are important and it is these that are difficult to earn in the current market. Any accurate prediction of our profit for the full year is impossible at this stage but we are hopeful of replicating the first half and coming in somewhere in the order of last year. | battlebus2
11/12/2012 21:28 | Got a feeling the results will be next week - and might be a tad better than expected (judging by the share price today) ? | knigel
20/9/2012 12:04 | Davidosh or anyone go to the AGM? Any feedback to share? Thanks Nobby | norbert colon
10/9/2012 13:20 | Presumably Simon de Zoete has moved his holding on. | ar4plcscom
06/9/2012 16:33 | I see a 360k trade seems to have changed hands today around the mid price. | battlebus2
15/8/2012 06:40 | well done David. I was surprised at battlebuses comment 479 as last time i visited they werent there. and yes dates are now present. They do take a minimalistic approach to informetaion though! what about 'dividend history' for example? j | janeann
15/8/2012 06:33 | Thanks for that David. I hope they go through your list. | battlebus2
14/8/2012 22:50 | You are not far wrong battlebus2 ! Let's just say that I made a list of things that investors like to see and appreciate in very small companies before they are likely to want to invest or continue researching them. As a shareholder I gave them the benefit of some free consultancy advice and it appears they have taken me up on the offer. Good communication and maintaining a website is important. | davidosh
14/8/2012 17:34 | I see the website has been updated. Maybe Davidosh has been in contact or they are reading this bulletin board. | battlebus2
13/8/2012 18:52 | The dividend dates are in their Financial Calendar. | rossco
10/8/2012 07:04 | thanks for that. would be good to see an updated website ; current dividends, dividend dates etc amazing what a few buys does to the sp mind the yield is good, especailly given the ongoing poor interest rates | janeann
09/8/2012 18:29 | Quite an interesting thread on FLK has developed here: I made the least interesting points but some of the others raise suggestive negatives as well as positives. I see that davidosh is pondering 'encouraging a few changes' at the company and I'm confident he will do it with his normal constructive charm. There may be a fine line to tread between getting them to up their ante and driving them to delist in fright, but davidosh is the man I would back to tread it ;-) | westcountryboy
08/8/2012 08:07 | well I bought a few of these this am.....looks quite interesting and now a sudden tick up on very little volume. Good yield - pity they're not isable tho j | janeann
06/8/2012 22:06 | Yes I hold having picked some up late last week. The dividend at nearly 7% and plenty of cash backing the market cap so looked a decent time to pick up on the weakness. I suspect the directors barely know there are shareholders and nnbody attends the Agm apparently. I want to encourage a few changes and the website needs improving and updating for starters. | davidosh
06/8/2012 18:18 | Yep Nobby that was the fact i held onto these while hopefully their market stabilises. It doesn't take much to move these in either direction as you'll find. Also London always plays a different game to the rest of the country imv. | battlebus2
06/8/2012 18:09 | + of course we are getting a 6% yield. | norbert colon
05/8/2012 16:54 | Any particular interest in Fletcher King or do you hold shares?. | battlebus2
03/8/2012 15:34 | I may well be going to attend. Not very shareholder friendly and I suspect they are very dominated by the founder. The only non exec has been on board ten years so hardly independent and website is very poor and out of date so this company gives the outward appearance of cobwebs on it and weeds growing below. | davidosh
03/8/2012 14:59 | Davidosh the AGM will take place at 9am on the 20th of September. | battlebus2
03/8/2012 14:29 | You have to take advantage of the low price. | battlebus2
03/8/2012 13:59 | I'M a long term holder and can see no reason for the fall especially as the recent results were sound. | battlebus2 |
