FKI plc ("FKI" or the "Company")

The Board of FKI notes the recent movement in the Company's share price and confirms that it has been approached in relation to an offer for the Company at around 130 pence per ordinary share. The Board of FKI continues to explore all options available to the Company and intends to announce, with the preliminary results on 7 June 2007, the conclusions of the strategic review announced in November last year.

The Board of FKI stresses that there can be no certainty that any offer will be made for the Company and the Board will inform shareholders of any further developments as appropriate.

This announcement is being made without the approval of the potential offeror. Accordingly, even if an offer is made, there can be no certainty as to the terms on which such offer will be made.

Stuart.Obviously just rumour,until something happens which was rumoured for monday we will have to be patient.Who knows but share price seems to be holding up nicely .

According to the Annual Report FKI are to part with 2 out of 4 of their divisions. This could take up to 2 years to complete. Not sure where the plans for a take over has been stated. The plans are to concentrate & grow the other 2 divisions. Thats the only facts stated the rest is rumour!!

From Market-insider: Word on the street is a rival takeover deal will come in a 147p a share, although one of my nosy boys is convinced it will be closer to 170p. Either way, expect some movement in the next 48 hours

Lets hope it materialises!!!
