04/7/2013 07:23 | T'was indeed a nice finish last night... News of Fendercare supplying a new product: hxxp://www.seawork.c "Fendercare signs contract 27 Jun 2013 Fendercare Marine is proud to confirm the signing of a contract to supply the Thorn-D non-toxic fouling defence technology from Micanti at Seawork 2013. Thorn-D antifouling is a physical barrier against marine growth (fouling) like barnacles and mussels which has a minimum lifetime of 5 years and is 100% environmentally friendly. Currently being used in shipping, aquaculture and offshore sectors, Micanti's Thorn- D perfectly complements the Fendercare Marine product portfolio. For Micanti, the cooperation is an excellent chance to enter the UK market as well as expand the application of Thorn-D into other segments like buoys and fenders. Fendercare Marine Sales Manager, Bill Wilkes commented: " We are delighted to be able to add the Thorn-D to the range of products and services we offer to our customers. We are celebrating our 25th anniversary this year, and this announcement is another great way in which we are giving even greater service to our customers." | rivaldo

02/7/2013 13:14 | Cheers philanderer, good news. Their 1111 price target indicates some way to go - it would be interesting to see their EPS forecasts. | rivaldo
02/7/2013 12:15 | philanderer, FSJ have been a success story for a long time, and there is every reason to believe the company will continue to do well. Several investors who post here occasionally , myself included, have been invested for over ten years. I hope to hold the shares for the duration of my time on this rather congested planet. FSJ is profiting from this congestion as mankind is forced increasingly to exploit the oceans: the last frontier; they are in all the right markets. | roddiemac2

With the help of investment experts, Times Money highlights some stocks that truly are the "Best of British".... James Fisher This maritime services company offers high-margin bespoke services to shipping and offshore oil companies. John Hatherly, of Seven Investment Management, the wealth manager, says the very specialist nature of its work means it is difficult for rivals to supplant it. It is heavily involved in the North Sea and has benefited from renewed investment in that area." | rivaldo

This is a SETs traded stock and these are generally pushed around quite a bit by the market. Nothing different here to any other similar traded stock imo. Good medium term strong hold for me. | cfro
