07/2/2019 07:35 | Wow, gem diamond results... fantastic, we need a bit of their good luck to rub off | astjgroom
06/2/2019 15:35 | 14 large stones found in 2018 | davethehorse
06/2/2019 15:27 | Will be interesting to see how the other Lesotho mine, GEMD are performing, 4th quarter update on Thursday, should be good given the stone they have recovered in 2018 | davethehorse
06/2/2019 08:47 | Thanks, missed that :-( So if you take that out of the sale proceeds then the average per carat price for the remainder was ~$65? | abtwo
06/2/2019 07:59 | In the Rns it states the 46 carat went for over $1m | astjgroom
06/2/2019 07:19 | No news about any individual stones prices --> they must not have been that good / newsworthy! The average diamond sale price was not far above the minimum required so not the best news either. | abtwo
05/2/2019 22:29 | It wasn't worth much, I read from a different company a similar one for $100k. Depends on its industrial use. not gem quality | astjgroom
05/2/2019 21:24 | Not me But they are out there somewhere Best seen beneath the pale moonlight Thus easy to spot | buywell3
04/2/2019 19:45 | Well another new all time low tonight? I have recently spoken to another mining company CEO who said that synthetic diamonds are hitting the lower value stone market. This probably accounts for the lower than anticipated prices here, as synthetics were always waiting to gain market share, and that seems to be happening now. | andy
04/2/2019 08:49 | In no rush to top up at the moment as think the price could well drop lower with the next quarterly results being impacted but going forward to late 2019 it could be much more promising. | davethehorse
04/2/2019 08:35 | Yep, thanks to the fact they did not mine the required waste they saved cash. No doubt they will have to catch up next quarter/half year to be able to keep to the current mine plan and keep accessing the higher grade (big stone) unit in the south of the deposit. Seems the recovery and sale of the large diamonds has had minimal impact on the average diamond sale price. | abtwo
04/2/2019 07:59 | Doesn't read great with the mine operational problems but at least not eating cash. | davethehorse
01/2/2019 08:57 | We started off so well with the recovery of those two larger stones as well | astjgroom
01/2/2019 07:47 | @mdalos1 re recovery of the 326ct stone, unfortunately this statistically means they will have to process millions more tonnes to recover the next one and then there is no guarantee it will be of gem quality. That being said they could recover one in the next 5 minutes just the odds are unlikely. (see my Posts in Nov,'18). The biggest issue with FDI is they overestimated the quality of the larger stones they hoped to recover and some of this was factored into the expected ROM diamond price. Without doing this the project would not have shown enough of a ROI to attract the significant funding to develop the current processing plant and associated infrastructure. | abtwo
31/1/2019 16:11 | He posts doesn't he ? This lost its sparkle yonks back AIM mining stocks do that a lot | buywell3
31/1/2019 16:03 | They have a duty to disclose price sensitive information, as and when it occurs. I think the best we can hope for is a steadying of revenue. Not optimistic. | tanelorn
30/1/2019 16:07 | this week, now ish | tanelorn
30/1/2019 13:14 | Anyone know when the update is? | astjgroom |
