I thought a very steady/good update. A strong xmas could see this move into double digits quite easily, I'm not expecting upgrades on this but I think a good xmas could see significant upgrades a range of new investors come in for the recovery story. i was a little worried going into this that numbers would be mixed but actually I am very reassured that I can leave this to the side. Clearly there are dangers but i feel confident management are making solid progress and that these could end performing amazingly well for me

Yes, solid progress continues. Reduction in debt shows that cash flow is good which makes survival almost certain and should see a move up in in the share orice the medium term.

There could be a 'sell on the news' even if the news is good. I intend to keep mine for the long term irrespective of any selling tomorrow.

The net book value of plant and equipment held under finance leases at 30 March 2012 was £nil (2011: £1,151,000).
We have developed reporting procedures at each site to disclose the amount of waste which goes to landfill compared to waste
which is recycled. In our third year of reporting, 77% of our transit waste is recycled, up from 75% last year. Findel Education have
taken a big step towards "Zero Waste to Landfill" increasing their recycle percentage to 92%.

Agree - would expect to see 7-8p shortly followed by a run up to 9p.

It would be fantastic if the news was good enough for us to breakout of the 9p level.
Theres a nice steady climb to 15 following.

great stuff. hopefully some good news and a positive run up and sustained after the results. some positivity is already priced in i would guess, and thus evidence is needed. would be a great environment for some decent news in my view

Findel plc, one of the UK's leading Home Shopping, Educational and Healthcare businesses, will release its trading statement for the 26 week period to 28(th) September 2012 on Wednesday 3(rd) October 2012.
Nice and low share price.

ive been reassured by the stability around 6p. i hope we can get to 9p with positive newsflow taking this share to the next level above. it will be interesting how far this will get in advance of the next statement especially given how debenhams etc have fared. interesting times.

Yes the company looks almost certain to be a survivor so now that others have also come to that conclusion the share price is on the up big time.

very quiet on here - nothing for a couple of weeks. share price seems to be settled in at about 6p ; very reassuring. Statement due on 26 Nov I think. Probably very little action unless there is a strong rumour before then, which I doubt.
I do not expect particularly good figures in Nov. but am hoping for encouraging statement on Xmas trading to push share price towards 10p, perhaps settling around 8-9 until next summer. I bought @ 4.1 so feeling pretty happy already.

old tyke, I saw the webcast when it went out, it usually takes a few days for it to go up onto the site. I think he has played it ok, maybe got a little impatient on the turnaround but each to their own, I guess alot depends on time frames and what you want to get out of the stock. I note your point though.

FDL got a mention on the last diy investor webcast, went through both the fundamentals and TA. Not up on the site yet but worth keeping an eye out for it for I would have thought:

I don't really understand charts, but looking at the one above it seems to me we could expect resistance at about 8p and then about 15p. Could someone please explain to me if this is wrong.
Personally I think the only thing that is going to push the price sharply higher is a good report early 2013 on Xmas trading, nothing to do with charts but I would like to hear other opinions.
