Revenue rose 8.4% LFL vs. 6.1% increase in overall sales. Express Gift was the deliverer was 15% LFL sales growth. Although, operating profit rose to £16m from £2.6m. Profit didn’t convert into cash profit as it reports operating cash loss of £4.2m. This is due to a reduction in the provision of £10m. In fact, a reduction in provision helped to boost Findel PLC Income Statement by £10m. Also, helping Findel to report a profit is a lower bad debt from receivables to £10m vs. £16m last year. Overall, Findel profits were boosted by a reduction in the provision of £10m and a decline in bad debt of £6m. In total, it contributed £16m to Findel Income Statement. This is a good thing if positive momentum in the business continues. However, to fully understand Findel business and future opportunity, we must look back at the past to uncover gems or traps in the future. For the full report on Findel, which includes: 1). Share price history; 2). Business model: 3). Why Findel struggles to grow net profit for some time? 4). Findel’s debt; 5). Outlook. Then click on the link http://bit.ly/2zQoM08

Morgan Stanley no longer have a notifiable holding.

Pay day loans perhaps? They appear to have borrowed more than 2% shares on 1st April only to give nearly all of them back today. And the MMs have got the spread at +/- 4% so they don't seem to want any trading business. Games being played somewhere I expect.

possibly not the best week to try and "find a loophole" :)

That has to be declared as a beneficial stake - but it could always be an under the table kind of deal.

Could if be possible Morgan Stanley were taking the position on behalf of SPD, i.e. finding some kind of loophole that avoids SPD going over the 30% mark ?? Just a thought.

There has to be a counterparty, it's strange that they don't have to declare really.

It's a shame that MS increased via CFD's in effect buying rights over almost 3.5 million shares without the share price budging one bit!

So MA/SPD have 29%, Morgan Stanley now have 10% (both significantly increasing their holdings via CFd's) interesting times indeed

Took a long position in these at £1.70, it's very volatile and I'm hoping to close out at £2 plus, what SPD's intentions are is hard to second guess, interesting times and the update recently seemed to suggest the business was doing OK.

@DeMelloRetailSpeculation that Sports Direct are going to make an 'ambitious' and 'peculiar' circa £20m acquisition. Wonder who it could be??

This is a really weird one, spiked to £2.25 a week or two ago, now you can buy at under £1.75, what happens next ???
