AHT the bane of my trading life!

Sold out at b/even many moons ago and the rest is history.

Have come unstuck shorting it a couple of times so now I am lying in wait.

It's become personal with me and AHT, I know it trys to get me.

It's a cyclical share and I am determined to make some money from it one day one way or the other, more likely the other.

I wish you well with FDL. I will continue to keep an eye on it.

LoL, Bracke,

nice to see you join us here on this very quiet thread.

Hope all's well with your AHT trades, who would have thought it all those years ago, AHT would go from 3.5p to the highs of 470p, only wished I'd held the 466K longer.

Whilst FDL may never get those heady days again, there is very little risk at these current share price levels, IMHO.

PT 12- 14p short term.

Evening all. Missed the pull back yesterday. I think I might get another sniff as I agree with Rescuer about the toppy Ftse.

i know I should have added yesterday too, but wanted to ensure it wasn't going to break support.
These prices are good

wished I added yesterday Gucci, when it hit support.

I ran a quick chart this morning and looks as tho resistance is a fraction under 10p, needs to break above that,

just a snapshot of a y/y

first 6 months 7.9% up on previous year, second 6 months 8.9% up

breakdown:

Express Gifts up 18% on first 6 months, 13% up on second 6 months
Kleeneze down 7.1% on first 6 motnhs, 9.1% down on second 6 months
Kitbag 11.1% up on first 6 months, 19% up on second 6 months
Ed Sup 5.2% up on first 6 months, 1.6% down on second 6 months
Healthcare 13.2% up first 6 months, 20.1% up on second 6 months.

potential sale of Healthcare still on the table.

so regardless of the current SP, the company looks in good order moving forward, debt stabalised and bad debts slightly reduced.

mkt cap of only £121m on what ought to be excellent full year T/O and profit to boot.

PT of 12p - 14p short term. IMHO

aye, to true TIM, but the short term price action is a bit of a pain, esp those who have a largish position (me) and it;s underwater, (ave 8.5p)

rewards will come laters no doubt,

just a bit wary of a very toppy FTSE

In the long term it is what the comp[any achieves that matters, short term it is what those trading for short term reasons do that matters,

Some interesting Broker responses:

Oriel - Buy, target lowered to 10p (from 12p)
WH - Buy, target 12p
Seymour Piece - Hold, target 8p

Seems like there's no real consensus.

Findel has been a share requiring patience for some while

There is also a need for some to manage their expectations
