07/8/2017 22:14 | My initial target from 102 was 150 - looks like that cld go up a bit | luckymouse
07/8/2017 16:13 | Last FY: Revenue increased 27% to £10.1m (2015: £7.9m Recurring Revenue Fryer Management segment grew 38% to £6.2m (2015: £4.5m) And more recently: revenues for the first 4 months, on a constant exchange rate basis, over 25% ahead of the same period last year,... - so not quite 25% over 4 months, but yoy. Keep an eye on deferred income, up 55% on the previous year. That's your future growth in the franchising segment. | jonwig
07/8/2017 12:37 | unless I'm missing something revenue growth yoy in the 1st 4 months of the year was 25% and in the 1st 6 months of the year was 38%.That implies some serious revenue growth over the last 2 months ! | maiken

07/8/2017 07:15 | Positive trading update, though no new information beyond the 1 June statement: H1 results on 7 Sept. | jonwig

29/6/2017 14:36 | LOL yes. I'm sure Kenneth Williams was the monk. | jonwig
29/6/2017 13:47 | Jonwig, nice to be reminded of Round the Horne. That and Beyond our Ken are classic radio comedies the like of which will not be equalled thanks to today's political correctness. | robinskardon
13/6/2017 15:27 | It is for that very reason I bought....shame about the illiquidity which has given me some grief in the past but with the share price rising now, I can even forgive that! | nurdin
13/6/2017 13:50 | 112-120. At least if it goes up, the spread can be forgiven. (When it goes down though ...) I have the impression this is a well-managed company. The way franchising works suggests this is successfully adding business. (Look at 'deferred income', a measure of future revenues, of earnings transparency.) I don't run a restaurant, and wouldn't know how to, but I'd regard their services as pretty essential, thanks to Food Standards Agency (UK) and FDA (US)! | jonwig
12/6/2017 12:06 | investorschampion - the prospectus says the free float is 28.4% (p4). I suppose there's a rigorous definition which they're following. | jonwig
12/6/2017 11:54 | cheers...yes have seen those but wondered if Investors had something different. | nurdin
12/6/2017 11:33 | Yes small free float is a positive too | luckymouse
12/6/2017 11:18 | LuckyMouse - debt's effectively paid off now from IPO proceeds. Spread is wide because free float is under 30% with a tiny MCap: the MMs don't want to be hit with a big trade. I'm afraid it's going to stay that way! If you look at the 2016 results there's an "underlying op pft" of £2.1m, which is probably worth taking as it strips out IPO expenses and pays off the debt. Applying a 20% tax charge and using a £30m MCap you get a historic PER of 18x. If earnings growth is 30% again, that's a forward 14x. Trading statement (1 June) is pretty positive. | jonwig
11/6/2017 15:17 | Any chance of posting just the forecasts please? Having difficulty logging in. Incidently FRAN is trading at 41x expected 2017 earnings.Different business I know but the market seems to rate franchise businesses pretty highly. | nurdin
10/6/2017 15:06 | Yes, I saw the invitation on IC, but haven't bought it ... nor these shares. I must say, I think the forward numbers suggest it's fully valued but the growth rate might compensate. I'm a bit miffed that I missed the float (first few days), but I don't think there was an 'Intention to Float' notice. And the spread looks ferocious. | jonwig
10/6/2017 12:49 | Good positive coverage on Investors Champion premium research page. It's unfair to copy and paste here but for the very small price of a credit on their website you'll be able to see it for yourself. Www.investorschampio | blueeyes13 |
