Spot on Davy. There's a very good market for Bleepa on security grounds alone but nobody will take it on until existing hospital comms systems (and they do exist despite Hazl thinking otherwise) run down their contracts and enter their last 6-12 months.

Hope this price stays down here, I’ve got a letter waiting on my doormat to approve the transfer of a pension and free up some investable cash

You’re right LR2, I’ve sold high level IT into private and public sector. Budgets don’t magically appear no matter how good the product is

That’s why as a salesperson as good as it is I’d focus on the legal risk to get quick action and be building a list and timetable of when everyone else’s current contracts are due for renewal

Inferior products?
What are you talking about?
They are just using What's App like the rest of us from what I heard.

Davy, most NHS IT directors will have a similar, if inferior, product already in place. Probably so poor that it rarely gets used by staff but already purchased. These contracts need to be run down before signing up a replacement such as Bleepa. Because of this there will be a year or two's lag before Bleepa starts to get significant market share. Expect real market take off in Bleepa a couple of years from now would be my guess.

They should just give it away to medical students loaded with sample patients

Create an engaged experienced user base coming into the profession each year

I can see your point Davy. I didn't really know what to expect from the Expo. There's only been one doctor who's tweeted which is a little disappointing.

BUT the tweet from TO last evening was very encouraging. If he says there was good response from Commissioners and Managers then I believe him. It is those people who will give the orders but I wouldn't expect them to tweet.

Let's get the expo over, get rid of the churners and then hear about uptake by some trusts or hospitals. Surely before any significant contract Commissioners and Managers will have to report back to Boards where the decisions will be made. I feel confident they'll come.

If Tom's upbeat then I'm happy. Maybe naive but happy. :-))

Time? They have 2 days, today is the 2nd

Bleepa’s success won’t be made or lost at this expo, I’m just saying I expected more. My own over excitement probably

Deals are done in the cold of rfi’s meetings and negotiations, not the bright lights of the exhibition

I’m a little disappointed in the ‘noise’ generated so far. Orders are a stretch, but if this was wowing people I’d expect more tweets more likes more follows etc

Something like; make sure you check out bleepa I can see a real need etc etc

At the moment seems to be more likes and retweets from investors than potential users

That's only buy on rumour sell on news des.

What people will soon realise is that there is likely to be fresh news; or I wouldn't be still holding!

IMO
