11/10/2007 15:49 | 115k sell.....ouch! | paulcaine2003a
03/10/2007 12:11 | paul Worse than that we are now down 1p!!!! What is going on here? | greek islander
03/10/2007 08:49 | A nice tip and no increase in the sp, typical. | paulcaine2003a
01/10/2007 16:47 | 72500 buys vs. 0 sells. We may see another increase by the end of the week. | paulcaine2003a
01/10/2007 08:50 | melody9999 - I got in 3 weeks ago and am already in profit. Also check the fundamentals and in particular the new set of results. | paulcaine2003a
30/9/2007 23:50 | 10p spread? - having a laugh. Must be other places where I can start 7% better off. Good luck to all that do invest because you have to be very confident. | melody9999
29/9/2007 13:08 | Apparently FDMG tipped in the FT today. | greek islander
24/9/2007 09:17 | Anyone know the reason for the increase today? Maybe MM's are finally running out of stock and raising the share price to shake out some sellers! | paulcaine2003a
20/9/2007 11:37 | Yup. Just grabbed a tiny top up with some spare cash from my trading account. Trade for 3153 shares not showing yet. Looks good value to me at these levels. Good luck to all holders. | cwa1
20/9/2007 11:14 | Finally, were on the move! Also, yesterday after hours there were 3 trades of 34030 at 129.74. Maybe someone is stake building? | paulcaine2003a
19/9/2007 11:30 | More buys than sells and were still down. Since 5th September: Buys = 196361 Sells = 46481 Aggr = 149880 Unless there is some behind the scenes action going on, the mm's are going to have to start increasing the share price Doing a good job at the moment of containing buys through a large spread, but the problem for them is that this will move north on further good news, whereas the people who are in at the moment are not going to sell as they are likely to be sitting on a loss. | paulcaine2003a
19/9/2007 09:03 | and were down two points back to pre-results....pathe | paulcaine2003a
19/9/2007 08:51 | I agree GI. Excellent value at the current price. I can only summise that the volume of FDM's business in the Finance Sector has somewhat muted the superb set of results in the current climate. O/T Good to see RCG climbing back this morning :-) Regards, GHF | glasshalfull
19/9/2007 08:47 | It'll all come right in the end - value investing nearly always does. This one with it's infinite prospects for expansion should be 20% ahead of the sector not 20% behind. | greek islander
19/9/2007 08:44 | FDM's website also updated with Noble's Research Note from yesterday. Their conclusion:- "Valuation remains compelling. Given FDM's steady margin and profit expansion, its unique position in the sector and its strong balance sheet, we believe the current 2007E PE of 11.0x, a 20% discount to the sector is unjustified." Regards, GHF | glasshalfull
19/9/2007 08:33 | Spread has closed to 5p. | paulcaine2003a
18/9/2007 20:24 | I think the spread could still be puting people off a little. The cash flow is fantastic although if they have managed that within the last six months, I think they should use some of it for acquistions. One or two would be nice. Only problem is that they have to target companies with higher than average margins (or where synergies can be achieved for it to be in line with their business model and not affect the higher margins that they achieve. I can't see 200p being challenging either. | paulcaine2003a
18/9/2007 18:14 | If Daniel Stewart had stuck their neck out just a teence more and come up with a specific committment to the figures they more than hint at for the next years trading then we would have been talking about a forward pe of between 7 and 8 rather than the under 10 we are handed. Still, that is pretty brilliant and I can hardly see a negative element to the results statement. This one really could motor if the buying climate improves. 200p is not at all unrealistic. | greek islander
18/9/2007 17:54 | Edison have a 5 page note out this evening which provides a DCF valuation of 187p. Decent analysis and like FIO (note also available on the Edison site) I see considerable upside in the current valuations of both companies. Regards, GHF | glasshalfull
18/9/2007 17:16 | Worth reiterating from today's results; "Current trading conditions continue to be VERY FAVOURABLE, with little impact experienced from volatility in the financial markets. The Board remains confident of the outcome for the current year." (my bold) Regards, GHF | glasshalfull
18/9/2007 17:09 | Just back from a holiday and yet again see carnage everywhere :-( However, concur that these are a fantastic set of results as evidenced by the growth experienced, improving margins and superb cashflow...net cash now over £5M !!! More reassuring is the outlook statement which suggests the current market turmoil will have little impact... the phrase in the D.S. note "...we expect FDM to be resilient to any wider downturn in the recruitment market..." confirms IMHO that FDM is a strong hold at the very least in the current market conditions. Regards, GHF | glasshalfull
18/9/2007 15:16 | Yeah I see that now. Thanks DiogenesJ. | paulcaine2003a
18/9/2007 14:40 | 40,000 shares showing, paul: but with a nms of only 1,000 shres, many trades may well be reported late. | diogenesj |
