24/7/2006 11:51 | Thanks for that. The profit figure is going to far exceed 2.7 million. If the current level of trading persists then £4.5 will be the answer. I would expect the company to become aquisitive as well. Being in the tech game I can say that the demand for resource is as high as it is has been since y2k. In particular the very hot spot is .net. Most major corporates are in teh game of spending and increasing that spending through 2007. | paddyfool
24/7/2006 11:16 | Lots of background on their business - Highlightining the differences in FDMs business from other IT recruitment companies because it has its own employed consultants which it hires out at higher margins than standard freelance contractors. Puts some of FDMs success down to it concentrating on niche markets. Increase in demand for people with certain programming skills. Mentions its move into the Microsoft .NET market which should bode well for the future since it is a growing market etc etc Reviews the share price trading at just below April 2005 float price despite the postive trading update. Recent results showed a rise in turnover from £33m to £35.1m and an increase in profits from £1.8m to £2.15m. Net cash was £2.3m at the end of 2005. 2006 should see the benefits of the investment in growing the number of employed consultants with profits forecast to rise to £2.7m but this figure could be upgraded following the positive trading statement. Shares trading on less than l0 times the previous forecast earnings for 2006 falling to little more than 7 in 2007. | tole

24/7/2006 09:39 | To fly the good nnews needs to be more widespread and this company needs to develop a following. The story is great this year they are likely to make around 4.5 million profit with a market cap of £20 million. | paddyfool

25/3/2006 12:23 | Accross the board IT resources are back in demand. Trying to get good IT people is now as tough as it was leading up to y2k. Unless these guys are complete numpties the results should therefore be good and the prospects yet better. | paddyfool
