22/10/2018 13:38 | I think the directors have already a large stake in this. I would prefer to see an Institution take a disclosable position or increase a stake significantly | moorsie2
22/10/2018 13:30 | Some director buy would be good now | flybyknight

18/10/2018 20:14 | Do you think investors will sue the auditor of Patisserie Holdings? Genuine question. | skatersav
18/10/2018 16:34 | And no I do not believe many large companies are corrupt to the core. I believe they are driven obsessively by profit generation and profit growth and long may that continue. But such obsession is controlled by the rule of law and scrutiny of published accounts by global audit firms who are sued if they fail investors. | moorsie2
18/10/2018 15:40 | " many large companies " is what said You slant my words " scrutiny of global audit firms " Do you believe in santi and tooth fairy still much | flybyknight
18/10/2018 15:27 | No I don't I am keeping an open mind until I hear and read the company's half year results and commentary I do not accept that companies are inherently corrupt. I believe in business ethics and standards and the scrutiny of global audit firms. | moorsie2
18/10/2018 15:13 | clearly share profit people have an axe to grind despite what anyone say the accounting mishap is at best odd it unlikely anything sinister would be left so easy to spot audit and finance team more probably let ball drop if it an actual issue Moorsie read fact many large companies corrupt to core team asking questions is what make thing honest either way Moorsie do you agree it takes away somewhat from earnings ? | flybyknight
18/10/2018 11:53 | Thanks for the advice Moorsie. It raises a question in my mind, however: If a company’s executives overtly reject basic principles of corporate governance, such as rotating ones auditor, why would you not question them? | skatersav
18/10/2018 11:12 | Be careful if you are calling into question here the honesty of the directors and or the global professional services company.... | moorsie2
18/10/2018 11:07 | Yes, they will have been signed off by KPMG Belfast, their auditor of 20 years... has anyone ever heard of the Cadbury Report? | skatersav
18/10/2018 11:05 | That’s not technically true. They are yet to complete the transaction, although it has now been agreed. Still, they didn’t own 100% during any of the previous 3 years. | skatersav
18/10/2018 10:51 | Since June 2018 | moorsie2
18/10/2018 10:47 | Since when do they own 100% of kx? | sleepy
18/10/2018 10:47 | No they don’t. They own 65% of it. They have recently agreed to acquire the remaining 35%, but in the last three sets a of annual accounts they only owned 65%. And yet, they consolidated the revenues and profits 100%, with out any minority interest line on the p&l. It’s Quite odd. | skatersav
18/10/2018 10:36 | They own 100% of kx.. | simonadvfn2
18/10/2018 08:51 | Shareprophets making more noise on FD this morning. The accusation is simple: they have been fully consolidating the revenues and profits of the Kx subsidiary, of which they own 65%. That's ok - however, there has been no minority interest line on the P&L so the EPS has been (allegedly) overstated by 30 to 50%. Normally, when a third of your reported EPS is attributable to non controlling interests in a subsidiary, you highlight this on the P&L. I wonder if the company has anything to say about it. | ds8095
17/10/2018 09:27 | Interesting use of the word "Material" - looks like they are responding to the shorter criticism.. FD (AIM: FDP.L, ESM: FDP.I) announces that it has signed a material OEM deal with | moorsie2
17/10/2018 08:23 | I love the smell of burning bears in the morning. | sspurt |
