If there was just going to be a standard RNS with the half-yearly statement then I think we would have had it by now. As mustardmark suggested earlier, Lorne Abony has hopefully been busy putting the finishing touches on some important contracts. He doesn't have an easy task with so many Investee Companies based in different parts of the globe with different time zones to cope with.

Seems FFWD are not playing ball here with their announcements and hopefully there is a good reason. Had good news from BOO today, just need FFWD to deliver now and for precious metals to climb. That should make it a good end to 2016.

Remember that unlike most companies that release 7am, FFWD tends to release RNS's at any point in the working day.

LOL! Love the second post doodlebug4! Quite agree! Pete doesn't always post about FFWD here that is why I know he is an actual holder. I will let him share the details if he wishes. Suffice to say that in a few minutes time I hope we see THE RNS we are waiting for and can move on ;-) Somehow I doubt we will see anything as the price action does not indicate good news. If we DO then I have to hand it to FFWD for maintaining a tight and non-leaky ship. The days in December are reducing, so if not this morning that leaves US time today and a total of 10-11 days MAXIMUM for the RNS to appear this year! Bring it on FFWD. Let's end the year on a high. Literally!!

Lauders, it's one thing when a poster like you who contributes worthwhile research to this thread makes negative points, but we have other posters who jump in with their tuppenceworth once in a blue moon.I can't remember Pete posting anything positive here since this thread started - if my memory is failing and he has then I apologise.

doodlebug4 - I think you have Pete wrong. He talks sense. I believe he is invested and I also believe that he makes good points. You can't seriously say you are impressed with FFWD at the moment? Come on! They have really dropped the ball lately & the share price reflects this. They are very poor at maintaining their website for starters. Where's all the news on/from their investee companies for starters?

Only ONE presentation since 2015! There should be more to get investors interested in their company. We all know the next RNS is going to be very important. Lorne and his team projected high hopes and big things for FFWD, let them prove it. Time is running out if they really are going to stick to their words and be sincere/honest. Like Pete I am not too impressed at the moment and I KNOW from previous posts here that you also have had your doubts and expressed concerns. Think Pete needs some slack and has a right to air his views for what it is worth.

Your remarks are unnecessarily disrespectful. You have no info on my pf other than that which I have supplied to you. Until the next TU offers something positive there is little positive that anyone can say. 6mths and no useful info. I am very willing to be convinced but I am also concerned about the lack of declared progress and I will stay concerned until ffwd shows me that my support was not completely misplaced. A 45% share price fall is no small thing. Just look at the chart. Does it suggest a well run company with excellent investor relations? One big deal could change the whole picture and I hope something promising will happen but as yet there is no such indication. Feel free to explain where you think I have the wrong impression of this company.

I know you, nor anyone else, would expect someone to give you a cash answer to that doodle. But yes I am a holder and ffwd is 7.6% of my total pf, so it is significant.
FFWD has been going fast backwards and I look ffwd to it changing direction. pete

Interims due to be released in December according to the Equity Development update. The countdown is on then, not many trading days left in December.
