29/11/2016 09:15 | Not a brilliant RNS to me. I want news of disposals and it can be talked about prior to a deal being done. As an example OPTI have released news this am indicating they are in late stage talks with 6 commercial partners. We could have had a similar update here I believe. This RNS really doesn't add very much. Sorry for being a tad negative and of course if news of a disposal is released before year end I will be the first to congratulate FFWD. | rafboy
29/11/2016 08:58 | I agree with Guns, if its news of any relevance, ie market sensitive, it will only come from LSE/RNS source, the rest is just tittle tattle. | bazildonbond
29/11/2016 08:53 | "Pretty much all of our investments are exceeding management expectation" You including DBC in that? | zangdook
29/11/2016 08:45 | Well said trotters - the multibaggers reward those who are patient. Fortunately we have a few individuals on here who share the snippets of information gleaned from our investments direct which helps keep the faith - my thanks to you. | mustardmark
29/11/2016 08:14 | Guys, we are an early stage investment company, I not sure some of you understand how long it takes to create a strong company and brand?Pretty much all of our investments are exceeding management expectation, one or two may even go on to become unicorns which would be an incredible achievement, but patience is required. Buy the dips and hold these tightly in 12 months we could be sitting on a goldmine IMHO. | trotterstrading
29/11/2016 07:49 | The update only covers 3 of the 9 investments made by FFWD. Those updates are very positive and we can assume that the value of those investments has increased. We have reason to believe from the last strategic update that deals are being looked at and it may be considered commercially sensitive to update on those companies until the deals complete. I would anticipate further news shortly on some of the other investments. | 888icb
29/11/2016 07:41 | On a brighter note. Yooya total monthly views have increased by over 600% in the last 12 months. Views in October reaching nearly 1.2 billion views!!! Got to be a real winner this one | gunsofmyown
29/11/2016 07:36 | Probably have a slight upward influence but whether it holds or increases will depend on future news-flow and how quickly it comes. Would have been nice to have seen some NUMBERS as that is what counts, but at least it is news! Should not complain for now ;-) | lauders
29/11/2016 07:36 | Poor RNS - very little detail from the CEO - nothing about selling any of the stakes - seems like a hastily-put-together sopp to shareholders | 2prsimo
29/11/2016 07:36 | It's just an appetiser, the detailed update is due in the results with an updated NAV | trotterstrading
29/11/2016 07:34 | Sorry, I think this is a very poor update and will have little effect on our price and probably none in upward direction. | canalet3
29/11/2016 07:29 | Nice update! Particularly pleased with Moon Active, had almost written them off as a poor investment, but it looks very promising as does all their investments! FFWD Will be massive in time | trotterstrading
29/11/2016 01:01 | News today FFWD would be nice! This lull in news has been rather "atypical" for FFWD. Anyway, while we wait Factom continue to be the main source of news that is not reflected on the FFWD site as usual. ICOs anyone? : However, there are also many worthwhile ventures that ICOs have funded that are providing value to the initial investors and have funded growing companies. Factom is an example of a successful company that sought early stage funding with an ICO and through a channel called BnktotheFuture, which provides a way that appropriate investors can invest in both ICOs and equity with companies in the blockchain and bitcoin space. After an initial funding on BnktotheFuture, a second funding through its A round yielded positive results for those who invested early and the value of their FCT currency has grown over that time as well. There is also this interview (quite long so I haven't listened to it all yet but members of Factom talk about the Gates Foundation grant) : | lauders
28/11/2016 12:13 | Cheers Lauders, at least the twittering might uplift our spirits despite the fact it doesn't uplift the share price unfortunately.:-) | doodlebug4
28/11/2016 12:10 | Perhaps we will receive some REAL news worthy of an RNS this afternoon post Thanksgiving when the US opens? That would be nice. Twitter can still keep twittering as far as I am concerned but I do appreciate your updates doodlebug! Thank you. | lauders
28/11/2016 11:19 | Nice one doodlebug. | flashheart
28/11/2016 11:12 | Since I don't really want to have to follow twitter all the time doodlebug4 I will give it a pass thanks. Besides, I thought you were our resident twitter follower and updater ;-) Did note that SatoshiPay have quite a few Google search hits in German and Russian! | lauders
28/11/2016 11:08 | Nice to see you back posting keya. | flashheart
28/11/2016 11:05 | Good to have your thoughts keya5000. | doodlebug4
28/11/2016 10:15 | Would expect LA will be keeping a low profile in the Christmas party season if he does not pull a rabbit or two out of the hat here soon. All his pals and ex-wife (i think she's an ex) bought quite a few more of these than any of us at 15p. May start picking a few more up, downside at 10p must be minimal, always thought the lag of time from first investment to something like a first IPO that defines value would be about 12 months. We kind have went through the honeymoon period when all the investments came on board in Q1/2 and now we are in that anti-climatic period thereafter when you argue about who leaves the tooth paste tube lid off. I am sure this phase will pass and if the investments are of the quality they look traction shoud start in Q1/2 2017. If not the progress is not of a unicorn nature! Just my thoughts. | keya5000
28/11/2016 10:13 | Thank u for your frank answer. Me,I'm 100% in! This time next year Rodney ha | gunsofmyown
28/11/2016 10:08 | About 75 per cent! High risk I know but the winners seem to outdo the losers so far. Ffwd is testing my patience though I'm well down at the moment. Tern is another but I'm hanging in there! | moormoney
28/11/2016 10:04 | On a serious note moormoney. How much of your "portfolio " is invested in AIM stocks? | gunsofmyown
28/11/2016 10:03 | We wouldn't have known anything about the recent news about Factom if it hadn't been posted on Twitter. When I emailed the FFWD team about the lack of RNSs a few months ago I was told that "if the information was already in the public domain" there was no need to issue an RNS. | doodlebug4 |
