Lauders - thanks for the post, indeed very interesting. However, would the meltdown in the US banking system and dollar not pose a greater threat than saving $80 billion?? You would see a run on the banks again, not just in the US but globally - I can see this being rolled out piecemeal, possibly over a 5 year period to soften any possible ripples.

Number 6 on the riser board UP 16% on volume that is still quite low of 560000. Imagine where this will go on high volume buying.

15p to sell now. So those in the last placing are still just under water if selling costs are taken into account. More to come here I would think so that the placing holders at the very least are happy once again. Perhaps some news tomorrow if this really ends with some strength?

Indeed wolf924! It may well be. Think I would like to see a bit more news here first before buying more but happy with my small holding so far. The next bit of news may make me sell somewhere else and add here but it would have to be some really good news. I may miss the chance to gain on the first jump, but I will still benefit from my original holding & then hopefully benefit from the continued momentum that comes from the announcement.

Interesting - not that I'm a huge market mover but on Share Centre can't currently buy these online, having to go through their brokers for best price - only £1k order aswell!!!
