Good price for them in that latest raise paying 0.65 next to 0.85 and they seem to have the bubble too in Australia as Mxc is traded over there apparently and is trading way higher than UK price.

It's basically buying money in these plays so long as the bubble never bursts.

Should still be around £2m in the pot too from the last couple of raises. Maybe more news soon.

It’s getting closer to being a cannabis fund now. That’s 2 listed holdings now and more to come Emmac and future investments. Once it’s an established cannabis fund I’m sure it will become very popular.

Looks like FFWD might have took a stake in Oz's "Little Green Pharma" too.

Still a shame Yooma did not float over here, that Mxc is pumped to oblivion on twitter and I think Yooma is way better and Mxc has doubled in a few days but more importantly it's the volumes hundreds of millions changing hands.

Still it's the first base for having a realistic valuation for all their investments with £3.5-4 mil. I cannot see that dropping much or anything, perhaps it will double to $3 a share and £7 mil for FFWD stake in the coming weeks.

Great first day for #YOOM $YOOM on its debut on Canada’s CSE exchange. Another £2m of value added to #FFWD
Yooma has an extraordinarily large market to sell into, feet on the ground and decades of experience in Asia. #CBD #Hemp

It was just over £2m at last accounts (December). Around £2.5m in total invested into it over 4 years. So at those figures it’s around £1.5m added. So NAV is around 11p now. Leap should add a big chunk too

Mellonsbellend, at $1.6 FFWD’s stake in Yooma is worth £3.65m. Do you have a figure for what value was attributed to it in FFWD’s last assessment of NAV?

Classic bobbler. The Canadian Tier 3. Cannabis index was down 9% today but it has been vertical over the last 3 months. An excellent first day for Yooma.

Cannabis stocks had major sell offs today. Bad day for new listing....

It’s still around £1m to add to last NAV. It’s now in the region of 10.5p. Until Leap sends it north.......hopefully.

Still a good day.

Looking at what info we have it seems to be nearly all buys on the TSK and it closed at $1.65 so what is that, perhaps a 40-50% rise.

As you point out they have to learn from this and float Emmac and especially Leap on a more liquid market. Emmac is bound to be as it's going to be going for upto half a billion but they cannot float Leap as well on the Tsk, they need something liquid so if there's massive demand they can sell down their huge holding the same way Braveheart sold down their RMS stake on crazy demand and Brh had a massive stake but still managed to offload it all for at least 15 fold return.

Nuuvera was a huge success ( the only one so far ). This is only just getting the money back they have ploughed in over 4 years. I’ve made a good profit offloading some for near 12 for what I paid 8 for. Still holding a chunk for Leap. Thought Portage might add a small chunk but 0.5% isn’t going to make a huge difference. Leap and Emmac. The rest is salvage.

888. I was expecting a surge of interest on a CBD’s first day of trading. But like I’ve said before this is a Micky mouse listing. It’s extremely cheap, quick and easy to list on here but the trading is so poor. It was even worse with Portage in the early days. Telephone only deals and often a day to complete a buy. Spreads commonly 30% or more.it would have been better listing on a decent market.

Ed might also like to address why there was virtually no trading in YOOM today. Cannabis stocks are on fire at the moment and Lorne has been very successful in this space before with FFWD’s only major disposal to date. I feel sure he knows what he is doing but I would like understand his strategy. The share price this afternoon shows that the market was disappointed. Perhaps tomorrow will be back heading north.

Ed McDermott tweet at 19:37 -Yes it was a good day but I'm far from content. I feel we have a huge amount of value that is not, as yet, captured at all.Having received quite a few questions on Portage it's most appropriately answered by public statement. Leave it with me

I’ve quite a large holding in Portage. I’ll be very happy once it lists on Nasdaq. Wish FFWD had more than 0.5% of it.

Portage has a market cap of $260m, let that sink in. Once it hits the NASDAQ floor this will bubble like you wouldn't believe.

And I wouldn't knock Portage either. It's currently up by 21.95% on news of the forthcoming Nasdaq listing.

It's early days yet, so give it a chance. Once the newsflow and PR resumes Yooma could do well imo. Some decent buying on FFWD going into the close and a 200k buy just reported from the auction.

For first day trading of such an exciting CBD play I was expecting a bit more. But I’m used to disappointments with years in FFWD. Though I have cashed in a decent profit today and still holding for Leap.

Portage was like this on the 2 bit exchanges they are using often days without a trade and regular spreads of 40%. I was hoping for a
More liquid market with this.

Is Canada always this thin for trading.

Surely they have millions of traders taken up this lark because of Covid too

It would have went nuts if on Aim
