RNS stating FFWD is now authorised by the Guernsey Regulators as a Closed end fund.
This should make it more attractive to Institutional Investors. My Barclays Stockbroker Account has always put FFWD in the Investment Trust section anyway. If it brings us to the attention of more investors that is clearly a good thing.
I would have preferred a major announcement about one of our investments!

Aphria continues its rise closing UP 7.5% @13.01. There are some big deals taking place in the cannabis market. This is going to get really exciting as more Governments around the world continue to legalise cannabis for medicinal purposes but also increasingly for recreational use.

Maybe tomorrow FFWD will recover.

mm's only care about supply and demand not NAV etc etc so they seem to have a overhang to clear but there is plenty of support now so maybe overhang will clear tomorrow.

hi jonesyboy I have no intension in selling didn't mean to give that impression I've been here since KUL days, think I would be off my nut now to bail out, your right in what you say plenty going on, will just have to sit on the side lines a little long lol, I said years ago Yooya could be the jewel in the crown but maybe not now it looks like Aphria for the time being, still happy to hold,

Hold. Just hold. There is major news re EU coming that is going to have a significant impact on Aphria price, put this together with the Senate vote (a formality) on recreational cannabis and the price will explode.

Leap sale final DD stage, it’s complicated because they are selling part ownership of a company to another company, so dealing with 2 parties. Strong possibility the buyer could be negotiating to buy the complete company.

Factom news could drop any day...NDAs series B funding etc

Any other investee company news may be about to come ...Yooya IPO etc

We have reached the interesting phase and it’s likely old holders are fully aware and will begin to pile back in on anticipation.

i really don't think the buyback is finished were in a very tight range, I could well be wrong but if buyback was complete why no RNS saying so, I have faith in the company for sure but regarding the share price for this year so far and what we have in the portfolio for me its been poor, but of course that can change quick, think maybe am a bit bored lol but am sure FFWD will reach its goal sooner rather than later

I think buy back actually stopped a while ago and that they are holding onto cash for some other purpose, maybe another purchase for the portfolio or to participate in the next round of Factom find raise, due this quarter. Just my thoughts anyway. I'm curious as to what happened with the Leap sale. 6 months is a long time for doing due diligence? I'm sure they will put the resulting cash to good use, and hopefully it's not a Jim Mellon longevity-related investment.

I know the sites dead but I hope the shares not dead, buyback killing any share price movement on the upside, 5 months into the year and very little news, our man said we were undervalued well you can see why, don't think there's many new investors coming on board, we need news of some kind and quick, lets get on the front page were FFWD will get noticed, lets start with the buyback news that FFWD do control, I know things do look good but they have for well over the last 18 months, my hope is for news in the next 4 weeks, GLA

Canaccord reiterated their 25.50 target for Aphria yesterday (currently the share price is 10.80. So that is very good news for FFWD going forward as it will more than double the value of our investment.

Will continue to rise in time for recreational vote being passed in June.

Diego’s Chief Financial Officer has in the last couple of days been appointed by Aphria as their new Chief Commercial Officer.
