It's excellent actually. Any stock getting a new investor of that size with experience in the cannabis sector is good news.

CEO probably wants some money to spend, maybe new house etc etc and he still holds
tons so no negatives for me.

This sounds promising.

FastForward Innovations Limited (AIM: FFWD) announces that Mr. Lorne Abony, FastForward's Chief Executive Officer, has informed the Board of his intention to sell 12,248,436 Ordinary Shares of 1p each (representing 9.37 per cent. of the Company's issued share capital) in an off-market transaction at a price of £0.176 (17.6 pence) per share, for total consideration of £2,155,724 (the "Share Sale"). A further update announcement will be made once this sale has taken place.

The purchaser is intended to be Mr. Peter Saladino, a US entrepreneur with a background in property development and early-stage investments in the US and Canada. He currently serves on the Board of Golden Leaf Holdings Ltd (CNSX: GLH) and was a seed investor and strategic advisor to Nuuvera Inc.

FastForward CEO Lorne Abony commented, "Peter's intention to invest in the Company demonstrates his confidence in both the management of FastForward and our investment portfolio. I will remain Chief Executive Officer of the Company, one of its largest shareholders and completely committed to delivering results for all FastForward Shareholders in the future, despite the proposed sale of half of my shareholding."

I really do not get today's players in the markets.

They are happy to chase bad stocks to the moon but why would you sell this today
after such a strong recovery in Nuuvera for starters let alone all the other exciting stakes they have ?

The herd has certainly moved on from FFWD at the moment. With Nuuvera rallying strongly and that Greek news you would think there would be some demand especially as you can buy for around 18.19p not 20p+

Good time to build a position while quiet and slightly unloved knowing the company ar supporting the price these levels to buy stock back

Canada’s Aphria Planning Medicinal Cannabis Investment in Xanthi


The planned investment, on a 5,000-hectare property, is forecast to pump one billion euros into the Greek economy and create 450-500 jobs.

The company is apparently hoping that ... it can launch the investment before the end of the current year.

Greece Passes Drafted Bill to Legalize Medical Cannabis - 5th March 2018



"The Canadian company Aphria is one of the foreign companies that would like to make a soft landing in Greece. It is planning to grow and produce medical cannabis in the northeastern region of Xanthi this year, according to the Athens-Macedonian News Agency.

Aphria representatives have already met with Greek’s Deputy Economy and Development Minister Stergios Pitsiorlas to discuss an investment of 1 billion euros ($1.2 billion)."

Aphria and Nuuvera are both flying back up last few trading days.

Aphria dropped to 12 last week now 14.5 and Nuuvera hit 4 and is now 5.47

Surely FFWD is due a bounce ?

I'm not bothered about the correction in dope stocks - a healthy reaction to recent rises. They are already recovering, and in any case, is it not that the Nuuwara deal with Aphria is already fixed?
As for our other portfolio holdings, there are several pieces of news that have the potential to land very soon, and our backstop at ~17.5p-18.5p has so far proved solid.

Thanks for the link leeb100. Hopefully the company share buyback will keep the share price around current levels until news from Factom and Yooya.
I agree with your thoughts on Intensity but that's the nature of the investments made by FFWD.
I am prepared to wait !

Intensity is coming along nicely. Still a good few years off. But with good news along the way like that the value will be increasing all the time.

There you go I had no idea there was a cannabis index you learn something new every day and when you see the recent spike it looks similar to bitcoin so that indeed might explain the current weakness in Nuuvera. Tbh FFWD is doing pretty well considering.

Accountant. Maybe that’s why we’ve had a bit selling going on lately. Our value in Aphria has dropped quite a bit. Factom news will make up for it in the long run
