I reckon this monetisation news would have a greater effect on FOG's value than anything else, even flow rates. The market drools at the prospect of monetisation for stranded assets like ours. Let's face it, FOG ain't never gonna have the cash to finance this gargantuan of an asset

My message is simply this..pay attention to the fundamentals here and not the day to day trading. 1) Amungee news was spectacular! 2) Velkerri flank news was great and helps prove up the massive size of this resource 3) Joe Nally coming on board is a tremendous sign that we have a winner on our hands....why would a guy like this join a loser? He would not do so unless he was sure this would be a huge success..as well the results from around falcon are looking good....to quote Gordon Gekko.."Blue Horseshoe loves FOG"...now it's time for the real players to assemble...or have they already and we just don't know it...Best of luck to all....Camelot

An excellent post:The really positive news, over and above good indications of wet gas on the flank well, is the amazing confirmation of the mid-Velkerri extending right out to Falcon's eastern boundary. We now have confirmation that the mid-Velkerri is pervasive across all three Falcon permits -- from the Kalala and Amungee to the northwest, the Kyalla wells in the middle, down to the W1 and Shenandoah wells to the south -- and now the EP76 well to the east. This shows the mid-Velkerri A, B and C shales now cover almost 10 MILLION acres out of the 16 million acres of the three Falcon permits -- (and most likely covers a large portion of the remaining 6 million acres when reviewing the Hess seismic data).We need to see good flow results from at least one of the Santo's horizontals -- given that one of the brand new horizontals at a much greater depth at the Tanumbiriini site could potentially have technical issues. We only need to see one of the two flow successfully at 3mm cf/d or greater and commerciality is almost guaranteed -- and anyone selling at that point will be kicking themselves 6 to 12 months later when POQ announces a buyer IMO.

BR - Yep, I had couple of right nutjobs following me about for a few years, one of them Rackers still does and is his 100th ID on ADVFN.

BR - more news in relation to Arria or Falcon ?

I'll answer both:

1) Arria - Imminent news re listing, will be a rather exciting few months coming up. Hope you managed to keep some of these as they could be worth a lot and soon !

2) Falcon - Keep an eye on Santos and Origin energy for any updates as they are a read across to Falcon. Also the flow rates from Velkeri could spike Falcon in the next few weeks. Difficult to say anything conclusive on timing, but significant news by end of the calendar year I would guess.

Chesty - Sort of agree, thats why I'm here after all, but the infrastructure needed to make this commercial will cost a fair penny, so there needs to be a lot of gas here. Good news is there appears to be a huge amount !

As I have been saying, lock some of these away for about a year and see how much they are worth then.

If there is 500+TCF in Beetaloo, I think our share would be worth more than £1, especially with gas prices rising.
