I mean.......Alex Mcleish............. | pj 1

23/11/2012 09:28 | FRP won't be doing well with new IVA but they will be making hay out of PPI generally and in particular out of PPI reclaims for clients in an IVA with them. A captive audience at nil marketing cost and any monies received they will generally earn 15 % of it as an increased supervisor fee for windfall receipts into the IVa. 15000 client minimum maybe - I have heard stats like average 2 claims per client = 30k of claims average claim £500 = £15m x 75%( claims co takes 25%) x 15% = £2.25m for doing nothing as all work done by a claims company. If they have structured it properly they should be able to make a turn processing the claims too - which are typically 25% of claim proceeds= £3.75m Oh and dont forget the VAT money £5-££6m profit from that. Anyone selling is doing it too early imho. | felix99
21/11/2012 09:24 | BB, A major Financial institution which has recently lost its Sparkle (??)has noted that the PPI compensation paid is generally to previous Customers who still have above average overall Debt (including Mortgage) However, these Compensation payments are not being used to repay said Debt. Bit of a Sad circle really imo....... :-// | pj 1
21/11/2012 09:18 | I agree with you PJ 1 a lot more debt advice will be needed in the coming years. | battlebus2
21/11/2012 09:16 | Appears IVA's, Bankruptcies (personal and Business), Repossessions, Credit Card cancellation and Debt guidance via Citizens Advice are all falling presently FWIW I am not convinced it has bottomed yet. Too much % take home pay is being spent on self indulgence still, particularly under 30's | pj 1
21/11/2012 08:49 | Bit of a tick down as a few sell after ClearDebt results yesterday which weren't that bad imv. IVA's not a growth area anymore it seems but as we rely less and less on them i'm not worried. | battlebus2
07/11/2012 09:41 | Yes very late in notifying the company. Still glad they are onboard. If they haven't sold out already lol. | battlebus2

15/10/2012 10:15 | Maybe an ethical one, makes money from misery. High charges (fees) for monies that really should go to existing creditors. Does anyone know if FRP vet their customers at all? Despite all that watching very closely for possible re-entry :-// | pj 1
