17/7/2020 00:05 | And another reported earlier today. Trenchard Aviation, £24 million turnover, gone into administration and handled by FRP. Hopefully in many of these cases the result will be survival but in a different form and ownership. Odd that the FRP share price isn't yet reflecting this rapid acquisition of significant new clients, but if you've got determined sellers for whatever reason (presumably original placees at 80p looking to redeploy) then it just requires patience. Annual results next month should spark more interest. Current forward yield is around 3.3% based on 3.9p dividend in 2021, so would have thought further downside from here is limited. | bluemango

09/7/2020 14:21 | The significance of having high profile clients is not just the extra revenues, but more about reputational recognition. | bluemango
09/7/2020 13:41 | Another very high profile case - Laura Ashley: "The pensions rescue service has forced the appointment of a second administrator to scrutinise the finances of Laura Ashley prior to its collapse into administration in March." "The new administrator, FRP Advisory, is also likely to investigate the role of the fashion chain’s former directors, including the chairman and chief executive Ng Kwan Cheong, who stepped down in January" | bluemango
06/7/2020 20:40 | The Financials analyst at Canaccord has an excellent reputation so hopefully this gets some traction. Feel we're still very much under the radar. Risk/reward here doesn't get much better given current environment and outlook imo. | ice31

06/7/2020 11:50 | None of this news seems to have a positive impact on the share price though. Full year results coming out in late August. They have said that they will be paying a dividend. | welloiledbeefhooked
06/7/2020 08:20 | That's particularly significant because when Rileys previously got into difficulties 6 years ago, they appointed Deloitte as Administrators, who would presumably have been the obvious choice again. And yet they have switched to FRP. Also worth remembering, for every high profile client name we hear of, there will be many more that aren't reported in the national media. | bluemango
06/7/2020 00:09 | Mention in Sunday Telegraph that FRP is advising Rileys Sports Bars. | iamnotanumber6

19/6/2020 14:59 | First update on FRP's Twitter feed in last 2 weeks, is (unusually for them) to publicise their job vacancies. Maybe struggling to keep up with demand? | bluemango
19/6/2020 13:32 | Mention in the Times online today "It is probably easier to list the casual dining chains that have not hired restructuring advisers than those that have." "Pizza Express, Prezzo and Gourmet Burger Kitchen are among the household names to have appointed firms to help them consider “options&rdquo | bluemango
14/6/2020 03:22 | Some interesting comments in this article from 2 days ago reporting the appointment of a new FRP partner in Scotland. "The firm’s restructuring wing will be in keen demand in the months ahead" "The team in Scotland warmly welcomes Chad as our fourth partner in Scotland at a key point in the development of the business. He ... will complement our business and will position us well to meet a steady growth in demand for our expertise" "The news comes just a month after FRP Advisory promoted two members ... as demand for restructuring services from consulting firms boomed thanks to the Covid-19 pandemic" | bluemango
