15/5/2020 13:31 | I can only see frp getting busier and have also bought in for its future potential, the forecast eps gives you a starting point and hopefully will be upgraded , always prefer a conservative Forecast easier to upgrade than a unrealistic forecast that misses | epicsurf
15/5/2020 12:22 | I agree Mr.D, could be plenty of business coming there way this year. Having low expectations/forecas | johndoe23
15/5/2020 11:30 | Hi All, I'm not sure that those forecasts reflect the seismic shift in the economy ( and humanity... for that matter ) caused by Covid19... We will only begin to see that once State support is withdrawn... and companies start to downsize ( "rightsize"... ? ) to adjust to the "new normal"... ... and I think it's then that FRP and similar will start to see significant demand for their services.. and personally, that's what I'm buying into... All in my humble... and no advice intended.... of course. Regards to all Mr D | mr dexy
15/5/2020 09:53 | Thanks for that by the way! | johndoe23

15/5/2020 08:18 | Forecast EPS of 5.6p for April 2021 would appear to be very conservative?!?I would be hoping for at least 8p, and possibly up to 10p... | johndoe23

15/5/2020 07:23 | FRP Advisory Group (LON:FRP), which only arrived on AIM in March 2020 and is one of the UK’s largest restructuring firms, issued a very positive trading update for the year ending 30 April 2020. The Group traded strongly during the second half of the year to 30 April 2020, continuing to grow caseloads in both size and complexity, with a number of high-profile appointments in its Restructuring division, including the administrations of Carluccios and Debenhams. It expects to report revenues for the year ending 30 April 2020 of £63.2m, up 16.4% on the prior year, including revenues of £11.5m in the two months following IPO on 6 March. With £19m of new money received on IPO, an undrawn revolving credit facility of £5m and trading strong, FRP can commit to a final dividend for the 2 months since IPO (forecast 0.7p). FRP's services should continue to be in high demand and the shares have risen 60% since IPO, up another 9% today. Forecasts for the year ending April 2021 are earnings per share of 5.6p, which equates to a one year forward multiple of 22.8x. | epicsurf

14/5/2020 16:25 | Naked Trader has been buying shares: "FRP Advisory (FRP) we discussed at the last two online seminars and this one is also discussed on the podcast I discuss FRP in depth roughly half way through my new podcast so have a listen! FRP could be in a sweet spot viruswise as it helps companies that need to turn around and deals in insolvencies. Since I recorded the podcast, FRP has come up with a very decent trading statement with revenues and profits ahead of expectations. More background on the podcast." | x54v

12/5/2020 13:57 | We now have to wait for results and with luck a broker forecast. Just a slight word of warning re a PE of 10 being mentioned. As has been discussed in previous posts some investors have mistakenly looked at financial sites and made incorrect assumptions. Those sites have broken down last years profits and applied them going forward with added growth. One needs to refer to the new payment policies to the partners of FRP in the admission document. From that you will see part of their earnings will now go directly to them BEFORE profits to all shareholders. The effect of this is to make the shares on a higher PE than others may have thought. The shares will always be expensive because your buying into hoped for future growth in a very uncertain world. The company statement today is extremely upbeat and that has been reflected in the stock price. With 2M traded so far today the city is obviously excited on prospects over the next few years. | sunshine today |
