Sold out this morning. Don't like the price action given that it would seem that all the good news is already in the market.

Gswredland . With regard to Small Company Share Watch and its share tips , don’t forget that the magazine bought FairFx for its Growth Portfolio 3 . Although I believe GP3 is only a shadow portfolio ( ie I don’t think the magazine actually buys the shares ) , it nonetheless consists those shares in which SCSW has the greatest confidence . From previous years , results could be tomorrow ( Tuesday 23/4/2019 ) ? . Do your own research .

Indeterminate tbh, could retest recent lows circa 90 but otherwise a week or so until results and update on strategy, comments on US customers and potential expansion, exponential growth all eyes on margins more risk to the upside imo dyor ofc.

My last post of today ( I promise ! ) . In my first post today , at 11.01 am , I referred to the flotation of Finable , which trades as Travelex . If one looks at the opening page on the website of Fair Fx , it seems that they offer far better currency rates than Travelex : whereas Fair Fx offers 1127.50 Euros for £ 1000 ( with no transaction fee ) , Travelex merely give 963.90 Euros ( with a transaction fee of 5.75% ) . Another reason to be cheerful : Crystal Amber have raised their holding on various occasions to the point that , according to the latest RNS on Fair Fx's web site ( dated 29/3/2019 ) , Crystal Amber now hold 24.07% ( I can't remember the point at which a major shareholder has to make a takeover bid , but 24.07% cannot be much below that , in other words Crystal Amber is now fully loaded ) . As I wrote earlier , I suspect that the recent selling is because , by pushing the share price to just below the psychologically important level of £ 1.00 , which many private investors would have chosen , the market makers have forced the automatic operation of stop losses .

gswredland . I agree : whilst SCSW are good , they are not invariably right . Two unfortunate tips in the last year by SCSW were Patisserie Valerie and Conviviality Retail . I held Kape until I was stop-lossed out at 92P , which was something of a relief as I felt some unease that there is one entity which owns the great majority of shares but which isn't on the board . Another concern regarding Kape was that there was no information on the Company's website about directors' share holdings and there were no photos of the directors . Personally , I have no such concerns about Fair Fx . If one looks at share transactions today for Fair Fx , they were all for fairly small amounts and all were just below £ 1.00 . Surely it is feasible that many private investors have set a stop-loss at £ 1.00 and that it is this which is triggering these sales of relatively small amounts ? Good luck all .

SCSW is very good
However they said KAPE could go vertical from about 100 about six months and its dropped. They don’t always get it right. I have a small holding here and was looking to add
A lot of selling here at the moment which is a bit worrying considering next week

Another error in my earlier text today : value of transactions by Fibablr / Travelex in 2018 was $ 114.5 bn ( NOT $ 124.5 bn , as I incorrectly wrote ) . Share price of FairFx is obviously disappointing at the moment , but I am certainly holding . The shares of the only other FX company in which I have a holding , namely Alpha FX , have , after a period of inactivity , started to increase nicely ( Alpha FX is not completely analogous to FairFx , as Alpha only deals with large business customers ) . As we know , and as my posts today have sought to show , FairFx has competitors . However , far more sophisticated investors than I have great faith in FairFx , such as Small Company Sgare Watch , which tipped the company only ten days ago at £ 1.02 . The SCSW article summarised by suggesting that there will soon be a positive RNS about progress in the USA . However , do your own research .

Today’s ( Wednesday 17/4/19 ) Telegraph Business section reports on page 5 on a competitor floating on the LSE . Finable , which operates as Travelex , based in the United Arab Emirates , which in 2018 processed more than 150m transactions worth more than $ 124.5 bn , is to float on LSE . Travelex has about 23 million retail customers . This is a week after another UAE-based payments company , Network International , floated in a £ 2.1bn listing .
