11/3/2011 11:00 | I started this and other threads in the hope of helping share information about undervalued shares. When I started posting in 2008 the markets were dire and incredible buying opportunities were available. Today, three years on, stocks have been battered down once again and the opportunities now are comparable to 2008 if not better. Right now the discussion sites should represent an open forum to discuss shares and suggest opportunities. Regrettably the boards are increasingly populated by malevolent posters and some utter rubbish is posted, often to damage the price of perfectly decent shares. I have decided that the best approach personally is to focus on the markets and reduce my exposure to the negativity of the bulletin boards. There is a substantial amount of potential gains coming to those with the ability to hold and build through these challenging times. Wish you folks all the best. | fairdeal2008

24/1/2011 15:33 | Hi Fair, seen youve been building a nice position in ALO. The company is currently firming up a work programme for the 5 licenses in Mauritania and they are looking to spend the £2mill on further acquisitions with a key focus on Gold and Africa, mainly grass roots or little work. Mauritania is very attractive at the moment and as i understand O'connor has a good relationship with the authorities so expect more licenses in this area imo. Cheers | mingle3

12/12/2010 14:21 | CONDOR RESOURCES robson1975 - 10 Dec'10 - 08:18 - 8010 of 8203 just to remind myself really and for any newbies.. Potential for the stock to reach 30-50p in medium term... Why ? Potential for 4 material JORC announcements on 4 separate projects possibly with 4-6 months ? 1. La India (80% owned : 20% owned by $900m Canadian miner B2Gold (TSX:BTO)) awaiting JORC-ification by Dec 31st on 1.84m oz Russian resource. That Russian resource could be worth 20p per share on Edison valuation basis. 2. Rio Luna (plenty of good grades including 450g/tonne) 3. El Rodeo (2km strike length, sampling/drilling programme currently underway) 4. El Salvador 1m oz Gold and Gold equivalent (i.e.silver) resource equivalent to one third of Arian Silvers silver resource - currently being discounted as El Sal have a moratorium on mining but a simple decision by the Govt could see 1m oz of potential value to CNR (i.e. 10-15p on Edison value basis?) | rico_suave
09/12/2010 21:45 | SNRP Coal explorer/producer in South Africa. Has 150Million tonnes of coal from just 3% of the licence area. Informal adits and coal outcrops provide evidence of continuity of resource. In theory could be up to 3 billion tonnes of coal within the licence areas which are 74% owned by SNRP.
