    EVRAZ SIGNS $800 MILLION LOAN WITH VNESHECONOMBANK

    December 15, 2008 - Evraz Group (LSE: EVR) ("Evraz" or the "Company") announces signing of a US$800 million loan with Russia's State
Corporation Bank for Development and Foreign Economic Affairs "Vnesheconombank (VEB).

    All the proceeds under this loan agreement were used to refinance the Company's short-term debt.

    As announced earlier, VEB approved credit lines for Evraz to refinance the Company's indebtedness under the syndicated loans in the
amount of US$1,006.6 million and US$800 million.
