JakNife - You just don't get do you LOL. -

Still expecting this to be, erm, well as you previously stated - another Cloud-Tag which I understand you were shorting at the time (as I was as well)?

Your logic appears to come from ignorance - unless you really do not know why 3D TV failed to catch on!!

Fans of bands hang on every word, follow on social media, spend hours getting tickets and travel miles to see their idols, spend hard earned on music and merchandise- is the the group you talk of Jak cos I agree they wouldn't put goggles on to watch coronation street - but a live recording session with their favourite band, perhaps worth a few quid to them, oh and the band would encourage them too. They would talk about it for sure.

Looks like sky have just bought out a VR APP for films, sheds loads of VR headsets will be sold soon, everyone taking position for the VR revolution and oculus release in a few weeks in the U.K.

Can't you keep it simpler than that dsct? For example, if Melody can capture just five per cent of the number of customers that Spotify has, over the next 24 to 36 months, that amounts to 7 million. They just need to avoid Spotify's non-profit making strategy!

Thanks TrumpingtonSmythe. It's a rare occasion for me to be called 'amicable' !

I did have visions of how manic this board would be though, if after an exercise of warrants, holders noticed the number of shares they held, being reduced by 2%, 5% etc. lol

Now this non-important issue has been resolved, we can get back to the usual :
will they / won't they
oh, yes they will / oh, no they won't (VR panto's anyone ? lol)
how many / how few
soon / never
This week will finish at 15p (150p) / This week will finished at 10p (1p)
It's worth £1b / It's worth £1m

Crumbs, a bit harsh treatment for a simple mistake! I thought we were all here for light hearted banter and to discuss the merit of MelodyVR? It’s not like anyone was given too much grief about the ‘they will never launch’ comments. Chill out and be amicable like dsct.

Do you want some cream for that burn Ferrisc?

In a placing, existing shareholders percentage will reduce (unless they take up enough placing shares to maintain their %) but their actual holding will stay the same. Newton's holding has reduced by some 9m so he's sold.

@TrumpingtonSmythe

Yes, I hadn't noticed the date until later, so it does look like he sold those near the top - a nice trade. If he re-buys more than approx. 3.2m shares this will trigger another RNS, as he'll be back above the 4% mark.

@Ferrisc

As I explained, and JakNife has now shown, it was a sale. I've never heard of an investor having fewer shares because of a dilution (unless combined with a consolidation), and no one on here mentioned they had fewer shares than the day before the dilution.

And I doubt if the sale was due to lack of optimism. More likely house purchase, tax bill, or whatever.

So by your own admission he sold at the top and not £500k light! He could even have bought back lower by now!

@TrumpingtonSmythe

The shareholding figures of 57m and 48m were from the Annual Report (31st Dec 2017 holding) and todays RNS.

As there doesn't seem to have been any other RNS's inbetween re Mark Newton I presumed the 9.3m difference was a sale.

The threshold cross was a drop from 4.44% to 3.74% - So going below the 4% mark triggered the RNS.

Unless it's a typo, I'm not sure why it took over a month to make the notification.

"Just holdings RNS. An original Seed investor diluted by the placing in May"

No. It looks like a sale. Down from 57,349,397 to 48,032,501 shares, so approx. 9.3m sold.

Perhaps he's not as optimistic as some on here.

He'd have got nearly £500k more if sold at the recent 18p highs.
