28/9/2017 14:32 | So are you saying that VR concerts are good things then Jaknife? That chap enjoyed it. One wonders what impact all the thousands of hours of EVR content will have when that is released EARLY 2018 ? Of course, there's a reason for the delay, as explained | igbertsponk
28/9/2017 14:13 | LOL - the story you posted was written 19 Dec 2014 !!! Three years ago! Not made much progress have they? They did show a Coldpay gig this year, but only on Gear VR. So not sure why you use the word "concertS" ??? | igbertsponk
28/9/2017 12:33 | Really Jaknife?? NextVR themselves admit they've another 5 YEARS to go before quality is up to scratch. As for Jaunt VR, from their own website "Q: The videos appear blurry all of the time or are sometimes blurry. Is there a way to make the videos sharper and more clear? A: Video resolution is automatically selected based on the available Internet bandwidth, which can vary over time. There is no option to modify the video resolution. Even at the highest quality level, the picture quality will not be as crisp as watching a video on your TV." | igbertsponk
28/9/2017 12:23 | If there is a sign of significant sales of VR headsets over Christmas (and a sign of much better hardware) then that would be of interest, currently I am not convinced they will launch the app in early 2018, which would then likely mean further fundraising. I remain interested in the tech, but as yet not enough to commit (and I'm quite a speculative investor). | richardc77
28/9/2017 10:01 | Form that article "with app launch to be timed to benefit from sales over the forthcoming holiday period." So, there you have it. Zeus are their brokers so will KNOW FOR SURE when the App will be released. Probably early 2018. And they've got plenty of cash to last until then. So the only way is up, baby.... | igbertsponk
28/9/2017 09:47 | Guys see link to new Zeus research note on EVRH published today. Makes very interesting reading!! https://www.director | jrmarcus01
28/9/2017 09:25 | I respect your opinions too :) My point is that the VR market is not mature and imo for the market to really get hot it needs Apple to get involved. VR has been a dissapointment for investors since the 1990s, imo this company could fold as easily as be worth the sums you mention above. However if Apple did sound like they were going to enter the market then I may take a punt. I would still reap the benefits even if I didn’t buy at the low point, but would have a little more visibility and confidence. | richardc77
28/9/2017 08:50 | It's amazing that posts like richardc77 wants evident NOW that this company is going to be a great investment and as jrmarcus01 quite rightly pointed out that companies showing that kind of potential are further down the line in their evolution like the 350s and 250s. I'm in this company in a big way and for the long term (5 years plus), not day to day or week to week like some short investors who make me laugh when they buy and sell for the sake of a 0.25p movement but it does keep me entertained. Happy investing...... | harleyjohn
28/9/2017 08:38 | Zeus the house broker to EVRH just initiated research today on EVRH and indicated revenues could range anywhere between $650m and $1bn by 2021. An EBIT margin of 20% would not be unrealistic. If Spotify is currently valued at $16bn then EVRH has to be worth at least one tenth of this ie $1.6bn or some 15x the current share price. | chrisfillyourboots
28/9/2017 08:36 | Richard - I respect your point, but time is relative (think Einstein said that?). If you want to buy into companies that have already made profits and are a long way into their journey, that's perfectly reasonable, but it's probably more of a play in FTSE 250 or 350. AIMS is about getting in early and identifying businesses which may become the next FTSE entry. This means most are often loss making, so I feel imo it's not the key factor on stocks such as this. All about potential!! | jrmarcus01
28/9/2017 08:31 | The share price and market cap of this company do not add up to it being a bargain considering zero revenue and no clarity on when the app will launch. It could be interesting at some point, but that point is not now imo. To add, I have doubts the app will even launch in 2018, as I believe (and it appears EVRH do also) that the hardware is not yet good enough (and not prevelant enough) to add up to a successful launch. | richardc77
28/9/2017 08:31 | Thnx Harley. I'd also add that I'm fairly certain that Universal, Warner and Microsoft would not be wasting, time, energy and legal fees on signing up partnership agreements and subscribing for warrants, etc, if they did not believe in the serious potential of EVR. This doesn't make success a certainty obviously, but compared to lots of other AIM stocks, it's a bloody good tangible piece of evidence that things are pointing in the right direction!!! | jrmarcus01
28/9/2017 08:16 | jrmarcus01 is completely right | harleyjohn
28/9/2017 07:55 | When things are quiet for a while its easy to start dreaming up conspiracy theories. The reality is actually quite simple. They want to ensure- quite correctly and sensibly - that the customer experience when the App is launched is a good as possible. That is mainly a hardware issue, in particular quality of screen to get best picture resolution. The whole point of VR is tricking your brain to feel you are in the alternate world. They also need enough people to have headsets so the launch has a big enough impact to give it momentum. Once these 2 factors are more progressed they will launch their App. IMO that won't be this side of Christmas. But now is the time to take advantage of impatient PI's selling. At this share price its a steal!!! | jrmarcus01
28/9/2017 00:55 | The interims will be interesting concerning cash burn although as they are supposedly ramping up now historic costs will only be vaguely relevant. If the cash burn reveals some "take your breath away" numbers then I think many will get worried at how their money is being spent. (Please sir, can I have a job travelling the world recording music stars, without having to publish my work !!) Can they monetise a catalogue of music events/experiences, well I have a few £K that is betting that they can. Why are they not making money now, very good question, clearly something is holding them back, I don't go with this number of headsets to be sold argument, I don't think it is an app issue as they have had sufficient time and money to sort that. I suspect there is some other strategic or tech event/milestone that they want in place, I just don't know what, and they are not saying. Still could be surprised by the launch any time now. | maxdba85
27/9/2017 22:18 | JakNife, do you have any thoughts regarding the suggestion that they want to be bought out before actually selling a single thing ? | maxdba85
25/9/2017 21:35 | Sounds like an intelligent sort of chap that Backtogo ! | abacus2 |
