I do wonder if there is an issue with streaming of live events in VR due to bandwidth requirements.
I have not seen this aspect talked about anywhere, but it has to be a issue as some of my basic research of VR offerings suggests blocky and not seamless downloads.
Are we waiting for 5G so that 4K streaming data requirements work properly ?
Have they contracted sufficient data centres to localise download/streaming ?
Just my thoughts

Ok I see. I'm not close enough to the intricacies to be able to differentiate. Have melody ever done so or is this a personal view if you don't mind me asking? What is the timescale with apple if indeed they are 'on it'? I guess they need a blockbuster partnership to announce with the launch date announcement? They do have a lot of big names ticked off which suggest they have a product.

Next VR only works on google Daydream or Samsung Dream headsets.

Added a few, just too tempting with the current price and the massive potential. The back catalogue alone of recorded stuff justifies the cap.

EVRH don’t want to release the app until there is a critical mass of headsets that show off the experience to a high level. At present that isn’t the case, especially on the “concert experience” footage. I believe we need Apple to launch a VR product, which would in turn raise the quality of the hardware and volume in the market and the “noise” /PR about VR. However I don’t see any sign of that happening, as they seem to be focusing on AR not VR near term. I believe EVRH are correct in holding off, because if they launch early and it does not go well (due to external factors they cannot control) then they will find it hard to turn the situation around. However in not launching this year I can see the share price drifting back further.

On August 8th they held 49.5% of the company, it is probably them still selling off which is causing the weakness.
