24/9/2019 18:22 | So Merian have closed a bit more. They had plenty of opportunity to do this when the share price was much lower, so they're obviously spooked about something. This may well concern the JG options, exercisable by the year end, providing the price reaches 17p (approx.) There can be little doubt that EVR will make sure it does. | birtwhistle
24/9/2019 17:12 | Come 9n people, wake up and smell the Future:))) | ch1rp
24/9/2019 08:14 | Hold on to your shares today folks. Don't gift them to the shorting scumbags trying to close...! | bobby1904

23/9/2019 20:15 | Lol lol. You made me laugh too. I have jack on ignore since 2018 so don't see his replies. Glad to know that I've not been missing anything sensible. | dlewis1
23/9/2019 19:51 | On the contrary dlewis, Jak is suggesting that the share price will go down after Merian stop buying. I wonder if they realise it!! (I was laughing while I wrote this). | birtwhistle
23/9/2019 19:47 | The answer to that will be revealed in time | mwainw1973
23/9/2019 17:36 | Guessing they're expecting significant upward price movement so they're closing. They've moved from 0.91% to 0.69% quite a bit more to go. | dlewis1
23/9/2019 16:54 | The question that needs to be answered is why are Merian closing their short now ? As JakNife would point out, the business is not suddenly going to improve, is it ? VR is not going to suddenly take off, is it ? What do Merian know ? Oh, by the way, the Oculus Connect 6 conference is just around the corner, you know, the one where they announce their next big strategic steps Starts on the 25th September I believe. | maxdba85
23/9/2019 16:41 | evrh has been in auction more times than my old banger in the last few trading days | liveit2

21/9/2019 00:32 | I was very happy to have sold these some months ago as I though they had reached 'fair' value....around 8p.Having seen these results, I can't buy back in yet. That revenue is less than my small company makes; quite a lot less. The positive that I can see is that they are moving to a subscription model. They should have done this a long time ago in my view. I now have an oculus quest which evrh are now on. I haven't bought anything because they have very little I want to listen to. They are targeting (probably correctly) a very young market. I will keep an eye on the theatre side of things to see what happens. But so far, it's not looking good. The numbers are looking pretty scary. Andy | andysand
20/9/2019 18:17 | Jak, whatever sauce you're on, I should sue the distillery As you said . £17.5m of cash. Which means that by securing help with funding they have retained nearly all of it. You managed to answer the first line of my post (if you can call that an answer). What about the rest of it? Or have I flummoxed you?? | birtwhistle
20/9/2019 15:36 | I totally agree. A lot of people were expecting quick money from this company. What people are not seeing is evr has changed or should I say developed other strategies that will allow the company to make money in multiple scenarios. VR headsets was the main focus then the strategy of mobile was developed taking away the dependence on the headsets. Gigs and concerts were the main focus then came theatre. They already have the expertise to move into other areas. This is not a one tick pony. Where next? Sports? Movies? TV viewing? These are now easy to implement. Evr has proved itself to be very agile and that is what you want from a good company. One that can quickly adapt to changes and demand. | dlewis1
20/9/2019 14:44 | Nothing too nasty in the H1 report. But for me the exciting part was EVR's plans for the London musicals as well as Broadway. This may well mean that their preparations with the latter are more advanced than they have let on. After all, the MC will need to be £220m by the year end for JG to exercise his options. It seems impossible that EVR won't make sure that it is. Gigs, yes OK, but the arguments for live musicals are even more compelling i.e. continuous ongoing venues, travel limitations apart from those living in London and New York, cost of admission - particularly on Broadway. I don't see how Melody will fail. Not so much a Sinclair - more like the original Mini. | birtwhistle |
