Not directly relevant but shows how this area is happening in many different forms in the 'in' places. IMO

The Brit Awards at the O2 tonight on ITV. (BBC normally get all the music.)
This is just set up for some serious PR from Melody.

EVR Holdings plc (AIM: EVRH), a leading creator of virtual reality music content, is pleased to announce that its subsidiary MelodyVR Ltd ('MelodyVR') has signed a VR content creation and distribution agreement with AWAL Digital Limited ("AWAL"), Kobalt's Recording company and has extended its existing agreement with Warner Music Inc. and Warner Music International Services Limited (collectively, 'Warner Music Group ').

The framework agreement with AWAL is intended to facilitate the creation and distribution of virtual reality content featuring AWAL artists. As part of the relationship, MelodyVR will receive the right to distribute both live and pre-recorded content created with Kobalt artists via its music platform for an exclusive period, followed by a period of joint-exploitation by both parties.

The Company is also pleased to announce the extension to its existing agreement with Warner Music Group, one of the three largest record companies in the world. These content and distribution agreements enhance MelodyVR's distribution capabilities with respect to its extensive content library.

Anthony Matchett, CEO of EVR Holdings, said: "In addition to Kobalt representing a significant number of songwriters and publishing rights, AWAL also represent and provide a number of artists with label services. I am pleased to enter into this additional label agreement, which will facilitate the production and distribution of VR content, with AWAL's artists. In addition, I'm pleased to extend the duration of our agreement with Warner, who are one of our longest-standing partners. With an exciting 2019 ahead, we look forward to our continued partnership with Warner and to working more closely with AWAL moving forwards."

Last year 'VR Holdings surged after a ‘transformational year’ which saw it announce deals with Universal Music Group, Microsoft and Sony.'Daily Mail.
No reason why it can't again.
Just needs a news catalyst in my opinion.

Great posts adventurous.
Jak is still talking about the past.
Shares are about the future.
A bit more current research needed I think.

Jak has the same stock answer for those on here who disagree with him, which is nearly all of us. He just changes his words around to make it look different. He's only trying to scare us.

Some very thought through posts from adventurous and andysand,
Jak has his views which I may disagree with but read and digest.

But turn the clock back less than 12 mths and jack was saying vr in any format would not take off as it was insular and anti social.

Check out countryfile on I player. 2 days ago.
I counted 6 occulas go units in the classroom.

I can also confirm that colleges and universities and now buying them by the thousands for educational needs and before you ask, yes it is my area of teaching and sourcing.
The main age group for students using these devices ranges from 5 to 30

when checking devices on a weekly basis we are finding that students are downloading many apps for personal use outside the set education periods.

Just pointing out that you do not need to own a headset to watch any subject or a concert.

Vr is here to stay.
