You are in a much better position than I am with my cost of shares about 2.7p - if I remember rightly. I take some solace from you holding these as your call on Dowgate, was spot on.

I am hoping to get something a bit better back than at today's price, but it is a big hope rather than any expectation.

I hold 1.8m, which I bought at 0.25p. The logic is that at that price, you are 100% covered by cash in the bank and even if the investments become worthless, you downside is limited. I would be happy to buy as many shares I can at that price. However, the track record of the management team could spell danger.

acquisitor, are you still in these? My only hope of some return is if this lot is taken over, but I they won't let that happen as it is a cash cow they so easily milk at the cost of the p.i.

As I said in a recent post, don't think this company is a bargain because of the NAV. As is obvious, the figure at 30 Jun is hugely inflated and has since fallen sharply. The question is when this management team will throw in the towel - is it before the shareholders get wiped out.

It seems the largest holding they have is CAMR - 500k investment at 65p - 30th June showed 536k - That was however based on an share price of around 65p - Today it is at 38p - So most investment going to pot as well as the cash - 400k in 6 month - how is it manageable - Its only an investing company?!

Sure does; judging by today's RNS. Very poor management and even worse investment decisions. I suppose they don't need to be that careful as they are squandering investors money and not their own. They have been eating up cash at an alarming rate as others on this board expressed concern about.

It does look like most of their investments have turned to pot - probably the worst on AIM - Just look at all their investments and you get the picture - NAV was 1.69p at last count and that looks to be deteriorating rapidly.

Is it about time that we had some news from Evolve especially with regards to 3DD who have put out their own announcement? Some share price activity today - the first in a very long time.


3DD to become an "investment company". Interesting? Along the lines of Evolve? Evolve have a lot to lose and have lost on their investment in 3DD.

I bought a few. Just not worth buying at small sizes like 150k. I won't be buying any more though. I just do not think the board is capable of even organising a drinking session in a brewery.

No - not me. Really only worth trading for a min 500,000. Have to be careful now, as this is a one way bet - you would struggle to sell such a large number of shares. Astaire was a no-brainer, this still has the potential to go pop if the board continue as they have done.

Also, before getting carried away, please note that these valuations are six months out of date. The 3DD share price has halved in that time, and guess how the rest of the portfolio has performed? As the company has minimal income, the question is how quickly the grossly incompetent board can blow the cash balances.

Or will they do the honourable thing and walk away and let someone clear up the mess?

Well when u look at it - a market cap of £750 - 800k VERSUS a NAV of over £5mill.
An share price of 0.275p VERSUS 1.69P nav. And then u look at what they have done.

3DD looks like a complete Turkey - Not even turkey BUT complete.
