Another thought (albeit a long shot), there is a growing body of evidence that there may be some sort of link between Autism and Long Covid. As we are all aware, Evgen have recently partnered with Stalicla to look at SFX-01 as a treatment for Autism (join the dots, to coin a phrase)

They did a trial a while back in Scotland for treatment of pneumonia (including pneumonia associated with Covid) but the results were negative, however the trial was entirely funded by a third party (Charity) and it did not cost them anything other than the supply of the clinical material.
